Such a thorough review! I was looking for a video of this wallet and found your review. Fantastic. I'm not into knives at all so I'm likely not gonna watch most of your videos but if you reviewed other categories as well like tech stuff, cameras, phones, other minimalist wallets, anything where you build stuff, I'd watch EVERY ONE of your videos. It's hard to find honest, smart reviewers like you. Just my two cents. Thanks for the great review!!

So here I am looking into different minimalist wallets and here's your video!

Matt Ashe, it's a good option in the more minimal end of the minimalist spectrum. As far as capacity goes. It is a neat design though. Thanks for watching.

Too funny. I just bought the Tactical Wallet and did the same thing with the tool. The wallet is awesome but don't see myself using the tool either and need space for cards so as you did in the video the tool went back in the metal box. My suggestion to all the folks watching is to save some bucks and purchase the Dapper Series.......Really nice wallet though. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO - wish I woulda watched the video 1st so I would have ordered the Dapper Series.

I'm happy to watch. I do see them all. If I don't post a comment. It's because I watched the video in bed, on my big screen TV (Android TV Box), right before going to sleep. With my phone off, and on the charger. I then, at times. Forget to comment the next day.

Steve Kluver, that's ok. You don't have to comment on every video. I know you are there brother.

I've watched many reviews regarding this Dango wallet as I intended to purchase the Dapper. I think your review is the best as you explained very detailed and clearly the pros and cons of it in respect of different individuals needs for a wallet. Thank you, Baz for this excellent review. Btw, I have ordered the Dapper D02 after watching your video and I'm expecting to receive it in the mail by next week.

Hi Baz, I received my Dapper Batwing Grey yesterday. So far I'm loving it as it's cool and it's already a conversation piece with my friends whom some were amazed with its unique design. Functionality wise, I'd have to get used to the gesture of taking out the cards especially in the front where the leather is as it's quite tight. I think the wallet will serve me well as I'm a minimalist guy and I don't carry much stuffs in my wallet. I only carry five cards and some cash in my EDC wallet. I'd recommend this wallet only for those who don't carry much in their wallets - the most optimum would be 7 cards and some cash although its designers mentioned that it can hold 12 cards and it would feel a bit bulky then. For those who carries a lot, especially cash, then this wallet is not practical for them. Thanks again, Baz and have a great day. Take care.

Alex Yong, thanks for reporting back. You are correct. It is a cool little wallet. Lower capacity, but works well for what it is.

Can you fit the 5 cards you use and the multi tool?
@ThePaPappy6 жыл бұрын
I;ve tried a lot of wallet designs but I keep coming back to my "multi pocket billfold" BigSkinny wallet. I've had mine for 7 or 8 years and when they get crappy you can throw them in the washer with your socks 😀 Loaded up it's still thinner than your Leather billfold.

Does the metal in this wallet scratch up your cards? One of the other reviews on this wallet said the metal wasn't finished very well. Rough machined edges that could scratch and cut.
@BazonBlades6 жыл бұрын
Chris A, I am pretty sure I saw the same review. But I didn't see any issues with my example. The machining on mine is very clean. No sharp edges or burrs. It's not machined to look like a piece of jewelry. It looks more like a tool. But well made.

Never been a fan of any of the metal wallets, or even the kydex or plastic ones... Anything made out of a hard material doesn't make sense to me for something that will be sitting against your body all day. I love leather minimalist wallets, and there are some extremely nice and practical ones out there.

EDC with Aaron, it's definitely not a thin market. There is something suitable for everyone out there.

Old fart billfold wallet users unite! I'll update mine once my current one dies, but I've had it for 10+ years and the kevlar or whatever on the outside isn't showing much wear, so that might be a while.
@BazonBlades6 жыл бұрын
DontBotherNone, unite brother. I need a standard bifold made of kevlar. That actually sounds killer.
