Took the leap. Ordered it late night 3 May, and it arrived 6 May. Fast. It’s only been one day of use, but here’s what I have: I’ve carried the STOW for the past 3 months, and have nothing bad to say about that wallet. The Maverick looks pretty big (wide) next to the STOW, but the STOW is also thinner. The Maverick doesn’t feel like I’m carrying a lot more wallet. Very light. I have a few business cards tucked by the cards that aren’t RFID protected. That seems to work well. Not sure I’d say it’s “worth” the price tag, but I don’t regret the purchase either (I didn’t gain the extra 2 in in height or increase my bench press as I expected, but...). Money/bills (when I use them, which is rare) accesses easier than with the STOW. I stuff the occassional lottery ticket behind the cards on the RFID side - no problem. I haven’t gotten the lanyard yet. I purchased that after I realized there are more than a few times I wear shorts or something and would like to carry it on my neck vice in my hand or packing a bag. That’ll be a nice feature. I checked this wallet out for MONTHS (maybe a year). If you’re considering the purchase, I recommend the wallet. Stop torturing yourself and make the purchase.

Got this wallet. Impressive functionality. Like the rail side. Purchased R-Spec wallet along with some other Dango products. Chassis clip lanyard, capsule case for AirTag also AirTag strap & cobra weave .

Nice review. I just got one of these, been using it for a few days. No regrets. I did however struggle to fit 5 cards in the RFID part. Mine are all raised number cards though. They did all fit but it was really tight to the point where I thought better of it. Luckily I just slid the other raised card in none RFID slot as I only carry 3 cards in that side. Over all, love it.

It's been about 7 months since you posted this. How are the cards holding up? My concern with this wallet is the side with the metal plate might scratch up the cards like my current wallet does. My front and back cards are looking a little rough right now.

@@ThirstyThurman hey Andrew, my cards are undamaged by the M1. I did have a chasis issue it got bent a little and became completely useless, but I contacted Dango and they sent me a replacement. Since then, no issues to speak of.

I purchased this wallet to use with my RFID badge at work. I believe the rail is blocking then RFID antenna and it won't work on our card readers. It's unfortunate that it won't work as I was excited to upgrade my EDC. I also noticed in the short time I used it my debit card was taking damage to the raised lettering.

Get rid of that embossed cards. Almost all banks are offering flat debit cards now. Embossed cards are obsolete and damage other cards

One question I have about these wallets is storing loose papers like receipts. Often, I get a receipt that I need to keep. In my current wallet, I stuff it in a little slot. Not sure how that would work here. Also, how would I include a Tile? So, this wallets looks great for credit cards and cash, but not some of the random things you keep in a wallet.

Everything just rides loose. So I’d have cards on the bottom. Then cash or receipts on top of that if needed.

Wow tough. You have the option for quick card access with the rail, but then again you can put a card in the outside pocket of the bifold. My personal favorite is the rail though.

I haven’t tested metal cards. Don’t have any. But as long as they’re the same size as normal credit cards they’ll be fine. You just won’t get as many in the rail.

Even with a Ridge I need to often remove all cards to find the card I want but muscle memory makes it very easy to do. I still have doubts about the way you access cards sliding out of the top on this style when they not easily isolatable.

The chop doesn’t have anything to do with RFID. That chip needs to be inserted to work. The RFID signal generally comes from one of the corners of the card

This is my second favorite atm. I carry the Contour as my edc. It’s tough to find a better wallet. And yes thus wallet will last you ten years but it all depends what you put it through. Just normal everyday use then yes

Anyone tried changing the band on this wallet. I just tried, removed the top 2 screws easily but the bottom 4 ones either don't move or the small hex just spins??? I'm assuming you have to remove all 6 screws!?

I gotta say the og 2.0 by trayfax does this and more for half price. The maverick certainly is cool and i WILL BUY ONE DAY AS MY MAIN ,MY travax better for travel. I got a free armored summit minus the rfid plate, both are easy to get cards out and look through. MAVERICK 2 BIFOLD LOOKS SO SICK I HAVE TO HAVE ONE. $250 I JUST CANT DO FOR TITANIUM BUT CHEAP METAL IM DOWN My more practical o.g 2.0 for sure is more practical for travelling and you do not wanna risk losing a $250 wallet that still works pretty much as good. Can't bring that multi-tool on a plane or risk have tsa toss it in trash.

Probably could. You'd need longer screws. However once you put the cards in the rails the whole leather part would be covered up by the cards and not really serve any purpose.

I have a Stow, which let's me also carry business cards without bending them. It's not as "smooth" as the rail, which I'm trying to talk myself into.... Have/can you put business cards in the Rail? UPDATE: I'll blame COVID-19 for purchasing this wallet tonight (bored). I've had my eye on this wallet for some time, but couldn't justify the purchase (still can't). Currently, I use a STOW and it's doing the job well enough. Not perfect, and that might be why I still have my eye open for something else.

Technically yes in the back plate or under the silicone strap. But it’s not exactly designated for business cards as you see on the Stow. But this wallet can definitely hold cards.

Just thought of how to make the non rfid part 95% rfid. Trayvax sells the rfid plate for their armored summit for $10. Just put that in like a credit card and boom,FULL RFID I WILL DO That when i finally have iver $100 for a wallet. $250 for titanium I'm unable to allow myself when my travax dies the same with more secure design but not as cool, just practical. Og 2.0 for travel, tbe armored summit is super minimalist, much more so than A series or maverick but Dango I'm positive has an ewivalent to the summit, Ridge Wallet, etc. RIDGE SUCKS, my friend lived in china 9 years and cqne back with a KNOCK OFF FROM CHINA that is 10 X BETTER WITH A PUSH SPRING button THAT EJECTS THE CARDS but not all the way out,enough to look through thevstack stack. (If you like ridge but hate tbe cards get stuck, these knockoffs are what you want. I found a few improved copies with card eject button just using google)

That’s what’s stopping me from buying it. Never going to hold all my cards in a wallet so for me it’s more of a card holder and if you attach the chassis clip which holds cash it then covers up the rubber band deeming it useless. I misread. The plate side only has a silicone band to hold the cards in. How many cards do you hold under the plate? I usually hold 4 and never had that problem.

With only 1 or 2 cards, might be a problem. I keep four and it holds well. Even when I shake it. That said, I don’t typically shake my wallet during the day…. Also, I use the lanyard so it’s never upside down. Bottom line, I’ve never had an issue with cards falling out.

I wear Duluth jeans and they have very large pockets. So almost every wallet has room to spare. These days some dudes are walking around in skinny jeans where the pockets are almost non existent. This wallet will fit different in those kinds of pants. So I’ve said this before I will never do a pocket test because it’s a complete waste of time. Whenever I see a reviewer do one I cringe a little inside.

I’ve answered this before in the comments. But I’ll do it again. On any given day I’ll switch between the 2. Contour is my favorite wallet but still reach for the M1 more often. I’m sure that makes things more confusing. Lol. But it’s true.

I just received my order Dango M1 .. I so disappointed it .All the screws was not tighten it up.. Now I can't used it . I've always been intrigued but never taken the leap on one of these kinds of wallets before but was offered one as an anniversary gift at work. These things.... this a joke right? This is just horrible. So now instead of a soft wallet with slots for different cards so I can have everything organized now I can shove them all in this one slot and have to sort through them every time I want one. Oh and as an added bonus I get to have this hard metal thing in my pocket. Never a bad time to strap a lanyard to something I guess. Do you like being able to thumb through your cash and pull out the correct bill. Heck no. Fold it all up and stick it under a strap so you have to take the whole thing out and show everyone how much cash you have on you. Even though this didn't cost me any money I want to return it.

used my govo for about a year, and it is nothing in comparison to this bro. I used my for private security work, and the GOVO breaks down after too many uses of pulling out your cards. the screws holding the window in are just screwed into plastic, not a metal base. So you will eventually lose the front window. I highly reccomend the M01, it is the best, most useful wallet and cardholder I have ever owned along with the most customizable. 100% worth the money . Don't sleep on it. I also reccomend using Blue Loctite on your GOVO screws to hopefully last a bit longer so they don't fall out.

Well recently I ordered something offline and as it turns out it was a fake of one of dangos products, I would seriously love to get said fake company shut down.. I've been onto Dango who are now working to get said company shut down and have just ordered the M1 Rail Wallet from them.. I'm sure it will be a quality product and I won't be disappointed with it after my disappointment with a fake item turning up.. Is there anyway you could include said fake site in your videos to show people they clearly fake dangos amazing items ?

Constructive criticism include the cons of the wallet. Like you have to remove all the cards on the rail side to get to the last one which in practicality is annoying because you have to put each one back after, just a hassle. But otherwise good review

nice if have 9 cards. who carry cash and coins 2023? who need wallet 2024 we have 1 card that is everything your ID card. 2025 we have chip inside your skin. that do everything lol. why we need so many card. waste of plastic

Plenty of people still carry cash. Plenty. And coins do suck but in European countries coins are very common.
