Dave, and anyone reading this comment, its such a healthy attitude to see yourself as always growing and learning and changing and to approach all things with a sense of gratitude. Those are the things that lead to a fulfilling life and are far more important than any money/fame/anything transient could ever be. Following that internal sense of purpose leads to different places that you may not see coming, but will give you the validation and fulfillment in this life that we all only get one chance at. Be Brighter, Braver and Kinder every day, guys =].

Hi, Dave! I understand if you don’t remember me from the stream but my user is Bronoui. I just re-subbed yesterday and had let you know about how you got me through some dark times. I genuinely meant that ❤️ my apartment had just been sold and my lease was cut off unexpectedly. I moved in with boyfriend where we found out we were pregnant. We had to move back to my home state due to housing issues where I lived. And needless to say, it was rough lol. But I had just discovered you at that time. And I watched you whenever my anxiety kept me up all night. Whenever I was having a rough day. I even watched you right when I came home after losing the baby. I needed to take my mind off the hurt and you were there to cheer me up ❤️ You totally do more for the community than you think you do. And I know tons of other people agree ❤️ keep up the great work Dave. You’re a genuine soul.

That ending heartfelt talk was an interesting item, I have been watching you on youtube for 3 years now but only started subbing in twitch via my free primes for 9 months now. Your an awesome guy with a good attitude the main reason I chose you over other people I watch on youtube to sub.

Imagine a level with both a dev exit and dev star in the path of the dev exit…
@CaveMiner2 жыл бұрын
The level viewer can defeat those. You need a completely chaotic level that even with the level viewer you can’t quite figure out how to beat it
@JohnDaleski2 жыл бұрын
I followed you June 2019, I don't remember which "SMM 1 event" was happening but was a run between streamers, I only knew/used to watch Ryukhar, but I think one main channel was showing on screen all participants and there it was, DGR Dave struggling in the run but what captivated me about you was your personality and good "vibe", not saying you are a bad player but I do think your personality speaks louder than your mario's skills. Thank you for this almost 3 years of entertainment!
@kingboo61282 жыл бұрын
i always find it so funny that a majority of the doubters, and maybe even some of the believers, accuse dave of cheating when he pulls up the level viewer to get past levels like the one with the dev star despite their chances of winning being practically guaranteed in those sorts of levels unless dave can magically find out how to beat it. "how dare you use the level viewer to find an invisible block in the middle of nowhere with absolutely no indicators whatsoever in a level full ways for mario to die!"
@nunyabusiness25972 жыл бұрын
who cares if he was cheating anyway, it's not like he claims to be the best player.
@Tahngarthor2 жыл бұрын
He didn't use it though? He figured out there had to be a dev star after deciding the visible star was way too hard to get
@masterghotihook57932 жыл бұрын
100% THIS. Only the trolls care whether or not he uses the level viewer. I would personally rather he use the LV to get through a level, as opposed to watching him die over and over because he can't find the invisible block.
@Dargonhuman2 жыл бұрын
Completely agree. In my mind, whenever a level designer resorts to those kinds of gimmicks - hidden blocks that no one would ever find normally, putting the correct exit out in the middle of YOLO county, softlocks, etc. - then they're cheaters themselves who artificially increased the difficulty unfairly, so it's only fair game to counter cheat in those cases.
@daniell57402 жыл бұрын
If Poo and Pangan don’t need it and never used one he does not either. It’s a no skip run that is cheating for a no skip run

So cute to hear dave speaking french. By the way, the title of this level means "Back and Forth Mansion" : "Manoir" means "Mansion" and "Allées Venues" is a French expression that could be translated "comings and goings" but means "back and forth". Just a little french lesson, doesn't hurt

I stayed not just because Mario is cool and you're funny, of course that is a plus haha, but you're just so wholesome and humble and it's not often that you find that staying the whole time. Sometimes people change when they find success and sometimes it's for the worse. You're not like that and it's great to see that. When people stay the same regardless of growth, then you know that they're someone special. I'm glad that I've been able to see this all of this unfold. Thank you for all that you do.

1)Level viewer isn't cheating. I was a Nintendo Power subscriber way back in the days of NES and SNES (showing my age, here but whatevs). And sometimes that was the only way you were ever going to find certain things. It's no different from strategy guides. if you didn't punch in any codes or alter the game's programming, you didn't cheat. 2) that heartfelt outro. Right in the feels. You've been a source of light in these dark times, spreading joy with you mad skills as well as your epic fails. I hope you keep doing what you do for a long time. We love you, Dave.
