Elvis loved singing Gospel & hymns. He loved Jesus & people who lived with him at Graceland said his greatest treasure was his bible, which went everywhere with him. He always said that God had given him his voice & he would sing gospel songs at his secular concerts, as a witness to God’s love. Thank you for your wonderful Elvis Reactions.

Elvis became a Grammy winner in 1967. His second gospel record, “How Great Thou Art” won Best Sacred Performance. He was nominated for Best Sacred Performance in 1968 for “You'll Never Walk Alone.” He became a winner again in 1972, with “He Touched Me,” which won Best Inspirational Performance. believe it or not with the 700 plus songs he recorded these were his only grammys. I have a feeling he wouldnt have it any other way. ❤

Great review Dani. You always give in depth interviews of Elvis's music. You should check out his song It's Easy For You off his Moody Blue album. It is not the greatest of recordings as he sounds like he's in a well, but his voice is phenomenal.

Well I learned my lesson today. I saw this reaction in my notifications and didn't watch it right away. I would have learned about the livestream. Always enjoy hearing a gospel song sung by Elvis. Great choice for a reaction.

Hi Dani. So sorry that your reaction to Let Us Pray was taken down over copyright. I was going to suggest a couple more songs from that movie that I really enjoy, for you to react to. Change of Habit (the title sing), and Have a Happy. But it looks like the movie company has a bee in their bonnet regarding the Change of Habit movie and reactions to the songs in it. Sad...

Hi Dani! I’m using this video as its newest as I write. You were impressed by Tori before and it’s time for two more songs. One is a beautiful ballad and the other IMHO a masterpiece. This past weekend was a ToriFest. Saturday 3/2/24 was Karen’s birthday in heaven and Tori and her collaborator Jim Wilkas dropped their beautiful recreation of We’ve Only Just Begun. Maybe one of the finest covers of a song I’ve ever seen. Not just for the beautiful sound but the creative use of the living boxes that’s so popular now. Jim produced the production and played numerous instruments also was the male backup vocalist. (I wonder who he’s covering?) Tori “only” did lead and backing vocals. (Yeah, Her!) A group of musicians Jim works with filled out the group. Jim came on the scene last month. He saw The Medley that Tori did that you reviewed. He felt it needed to be”more Richard.” So he did just that. He recorded the harmonies, triple tracked them to match and put his video next to Tori’s and showed her. She loved it, Jim released it and a new duo was born. We’ve Only was produced shortly thereafter. This and We’ve are on Jim’s channel, take a peek at what started this all. Oh, more is coming… Also on Saturday, Tori released a birthday special for Karen. A short cover of Karen’s favorite Carpenters song “I Need To Be In Love.” Then to finish the ToriFest Weekend, Tori dropped her new single. Something To Believe In. It’s a new original song and arranged for Tori and she’s the originating artist. It’s a lovely ballad and available on all the streaming services and iTunes. I hope you like both of these releases, I’ll link the short too for your perusal. I think you wanted more and here we are with some IMHO great offerings (pun intended). I’ll mention this post in the pp donation. Also I just noticed your NYC connection. I was born in The Bronx and grew up in Howard Beach, Queens!
