Hey Dani , UNCLE J- MAN here on time for a change. Loved this movie with the whole boxing theme. When I look and listen to him here makes me kind of mad. Imagine the Elvis from the late 50’’s to the late 60’s on live on stage. I think we must of lost a lot great performances and recorded footage. @@bign8580 Bronson was the physically tougher of the two. Even in 1975 at 54 years of age he was in peak shape. So at 42 when he worked with Elvis, Bronson could have kicked his butt. Elvis wanted to be a Clint Eastwood or Charles Bronson. Elvis was a big fan of "Death Wish" starring Bronson. Elvis and red West watched it repeatedly.

My birthday is January 6th it's just two days before Elvis's birthday. Friends of mine knows my birthday cuz it's two days before Elvis's. I know all of Elvis's songs, when I had Sirius XM Radio and the Elvis Channel. I could tell you the name of the song before he said a word just by their intro music and a lot of them I could tell you the date that it was released. Kid Galahad was a good film. Say what you will, Elvis was surrounded by some heavy hitters in his movies. Gig Young, Lola Albright, Charles Bronson. He had talent ... and could have done more had the support been there.

This was probably the last really good Elvis movie that actually had a plot to it. The girl (Joan Blackman) was also in Blue Hawaii. Her Borther Willy, is a ne'er-do-well' 'engaged' to the blonde lady sitting on the porch railing. (Lola Albright) This is actually not a bad picture. interesting...you also noticed the shirt. I saw previously and said to myself if they made that shirt style, I'd buy it in a heart beat. Love the color, the collar and how it stops below the elbow. They don't make that type of shirt and it was a great design. I'm surprised no one has picked up again in todays time. I guess its just too cool of a shirt for nowadays.

Hi Dani. FYI, this movie was Kid Galahad, and Elvis was at training camp for boxing. If I remember correctly, the older woman on the porch was the partner or wife of the owner of the camp. She was just enjoying watching Elvis and the young girl falling in love.
