Ann-Margret loved Elvis, she said they were soulmates. Who knows what really happened between them but she has only ever said nice things about him. She said she got a phone call from Elvis once he had broke up with Pricilla asking to see her again because he was lonely but she said she couldn’t as she was married.. He sent her flowers every morning before her shows in Vegas but on the 16th Aug she knew something was wrong as there were no flowers. She speaks so highly of Elvis and says some things she will never tell. To me, that’s her love and respect for Elvis 💕

Ann Margret has always shown a lot of tact, insight and genuine affection when talking about Elvis. Check out a lovely segment of her talking about Elvis on Charlie Rose show. She battled with alcoholism and had a serious accident while very young, but it seems like she managed to stand on her feet.she had a great career and by all accounts a long, happy marriage.

I literally fangirl over Ann Margret. she's absolutely gorgeous omg. She is very talented. originally from Sweden. She married Roger Smith in 1967. He died in 2018 so they remained married for over 50 years. They did not have children together. Roger had children from a previous marriage and so his children are her stepchildren. (she is very loyal to Elvis and does not talk bad about him or his family, or go into personal details of him or his family).

During the making of the movie Elvis and Ann Margaret had sparks when they had first met on set. But even that being said Elvis was a bit perturbed that the director or camera man had an infatuation with her and was taking a lot of camera shots of her. Elvis said is this An Ann Margaret movie or mine. They had a 2 year love affair. When he knew she opened up in Las Vegas he always sent her a guitar shaped flower arrangement for her opening night. When she didn’t receive them in 1977 she knew something was wrong.

EP met AM in 6/63 when the filming of Viva Las Vegas began. Their affair lasted for about one year. Unfortunately, Prissy moved into Graceland in 3/63. As I'm sure you know, Prissy threw a vase acrosss the floor when she confronted EP about AM and supposedly this inspired EP to "come clean" about his relationship with Prissy. I really doubt that her throwing a vase was the inspiration but rather the "threat" to expose him to the media.

I recently finished reading Mike Edwards book, "Priscilla, Elvis & Me." Mike E. was introduced to Prissy in 7/78 by his friend at a party she was hosting. His friend, in 1978, described Prissy as "AMBITIOUS, MANIPULATING AND CALCULATING.." "She'd outgrow you and drop you just like she did Elvis." "She couldn't do that to me, as we are both RUTHLESS." I took a lot of comfort when reading this quote as it confirms my description of Prissy as being a MANIPULATIVE, CONNIVING SNAKE.
