Hi Dani! I have purchased your calendars and LOVE them! However, it would be really nice if you had an "American/Canadian version", where the first column of days start with Sunday (as opposed to Monday). Unfortunately, I missed a couple meetings because I thought it was the wrong day because I looked at calendar too quickly! I would love to use your calendars at work... but since the beginning of week starts with Monday I get too confused. I still have this years calendar in my kitchen (but I used to have it at work). Anyway, just a thought... I'll still purchase new one either way, but it would be SO AWESOME if you printed an American/Canadian monthly format!

Dani, your home is beautiful. The landing would make a great reading nook and maybe you could turn the large basement room into a cinema room? Hopefully, you will be able to live in your house all year round too.

Those were exactly my thoughts. Cozy reading area in the landing and with a projector in the large room it could serve as a cinema room but it's also so big that you could have closed storage along a wall for extra equipment, supplies, decor. That's assuming they watch enough movies or streaming to make it a worthy use of the room.

In Sweden appliances is seen as a part of the house and the most common is that they stay in the house at a sale for next buyer to enjoy. That goes for stove, oven, dish washer. fridge + freezer, washing machine and dryer. In the few cases the owner want's to take some of that with him it needs to be information about that in the sales add when selling the house. You should sand down the entrance door a bit and put new stain (bets) on it with a clear coat. It would look like new again.

I'd say your decision to move to northern Sweden is great. What looks like 50kg of sunflower seeds, nature at your doorstep, a cozy home with a sauna!! Your low housing costs mean so much. Hello. Love the house! In Sweden we use "renoveringstapet" if the old walls in not the best or the old color is showing thru the new wallpaper. Realy good to use before the final wallpaper in old houses. We use it in ower 108 year old house, it's like new walls now! Ohh allways use "Easy up" wallpaper, so easy to put up and no extra work.

Your home is quite beautiful/cozy/relaxing/welcoming both inside and out. Don’t rush to finish every space, but take your time and get to know the house and your needs while living there during the different seasons. The very large room at the end could be a multi purpose room that could be for watching movies and entertaining friends and family and a space for guests to stay as needed. You could rearrange the space and rooms divide up the space or add built in storage. Remodel the laundry room to better suit your needs. Sometimes you need to live in the house before you really know what you really want and need.

Just love the wooden ceilings. You just need to lightly sand a seal clear coat eventually. The views from upstairs windows are incredible. I'm so glad you were able to purchase last year. One must live in a space to know what you want. It evolves with time. Looking forward to your wildlife calendar. The red squirrels are cute.

Glad to see that you have taken this old house and give it a new life, with your style. In Finland I see so many old houses going down because there is nobody living anymore. Thats sad, it is not good that we all move to towns. Perhaps now when hybrid work model is coming to work places it makes the shift to have at least second house where it is possible to work and enjoy the nature and life of animals in there. What a nice home and such a lovely area to live. As for a video/movie room that extra large room that you are unsure of what to do with would make a great video/movie/media room. A couple of comfy chairs and a projection system or very large screen TV would work just fine I think. There would still be plenty of room for other uses too. Maybe some movable screens to help break up the area and make it more private would help too.
