Zeek gab, you muslims are questioning the divinity of jesus so that you can justify that mohammad is the true prophet of God when in fact it is hard to prove because he has no witness with him. It is the truth that Mohammad is late 600 yrs. after Jesus, so that the bible that contains His words and teachings is earlier than quran. No word in the bible tells so that mohammad is comming. Some muslim teachers say that mohammad is the one foretold in the bible that Jesus will send to his apostles after Him, when in fact mohammad has no charateristic of the one to be sent that will be with the apostles up to the end of the world, for mohammad did not last long on earth for even a hundred yrs. The truth is tha the one to succed Jesus in His absence to the apostles is the Holy Spirit that will be with them up to the end of the world! Not mohammad. A VERY BIG LIE! The only authoritative book with respect to fait in God is the BIBLE of Christians and not the quran! for quran has no witnesses when it was allegedlly dictated buy god of muslims to mohammad, unlike the bible that the apostles and other enemies of Jesus like pharisee were witness of the words of God when God the Father said " This is my beloved Son in whom i am well pleased". One of the rejections of muslims to Jesus is that Jesus is not God because He has no father like adam; He eat; drink; walk; cry, and was wounded and died like human. What you muslims dont know or recognize is that God can do or perfom all things like human can do, if He only so desires! But human can not in any way do what God can do! No man can make a moon in the sky even the king in the middle east for it is God and God alone can do it! If Jesus did not resurrect which you muslims do not accept, then I agree with you that He is not God. But He did, and so it proves that he is God. And all that will follow Him will go to heaven. But to follow or believe mohammad or the quran is a suisidal act to hell. So, the reason why jesus do things that some people do is that He is both God and man. He is man so that man will see the examples of what Jesus dids to fullfill the commandments of God. There are many things that Jesus did like the 5 bread that was aten by 5000 men not including women and children and the left over of 12 full baskets, the walking of Jesus over the water, the giving life to the dead son of a widow, making walk to a lame man, and many more. If He can do these many miracles because of His Almighty Father, then no doubt He is also Almighty because He is the Son of an Almighty God.

Protestants, well intentioned or not, are full of contradictions. They seemingly make themselves the infallible interpreter of the Bible and Christian doctrine all the while decrying the Catholic claim to be in sole possession of such infallibility. Their source for all condemnation is the Bible something handed down to them by the Catholic Church. This is an inescapable fact of history. What is also inescapable is that when you leave Papal infallibility and the magesterium of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church all you are left with is your own personal infallibility. Who is right, John MacArthur, James White, John Piper, Jimmy Swaggart, Robert Shueller, Billy Graham, Rick Warren, Martin Luther......well you get the idea. Just look at what has happened since the reformation, each time someone disagrees with another's teaching a new church or denomination pops up. Could this really have been what Christ intended? If you truly believe that God intended for us all to be individually infallible seekers of the truth then fine but you have no logical reason for thinking the Church is any less infallible then your self. To use the Church's book though to attempt to refute the Church is illogical and a form of demonic deception.

WhyCatholic Read Paul's Letter. There was not ONE Church during Paul's time and there is never supposed to be one Church. Romans killed Yeshua (Jesus) and persecuted the first Jewish Christians. Why would Yeshua make the demonic Rome the center of his Church? Roman Catholic Church kept people from reading the Bible for centuries and murdered common people who learned to read the Bible. This verse was concerning war with a people who had broken their treaty of peace with the Muslims and attacked them- slaying them driving them away from their homes! I have one very good friend who wishes me to join her churches. She publicly acknowledge she's a Born Again Christians. Whatever she said, I just stick to myself never waver from my Catholic way. I missed my Church everytime I was to go back from Holy Mass. The longing to be near the Tabernacle was so GREAT. I wishes to stay back and stay near to Our Lord every minutes, second and hour. john jonson Mary is very much alive and so all the saints. Jesus said 'if you believe in me even if you die you shall live forever'. He proved that He is the Truth, a total reverse of Mohammed' by sending His Mother to Earth even up to this day. Each time His Mother appears she leads many souls to her Son. That's why Catholics pray the rosary because in all her apparitions, in obedience to her Son, she invites the faithful to pray the rosary everyday. Yet God commanded the Jews to fashion many graven images: the Brazen Serpent that they must look to in order to be saved from the plague, the Ark of the Covenant with graven Cherubim on the lid, and the many graven and decorated images that fill the Temple of God itself. God cares about the heart, not just the outward signs. The Uncreated God commands only Himself to be worshipped, not a created object. On my right is my favorite stained glass icon of Mary and the child Jesus. All around me, on every wall, are images that remind me that I’m surrounded by a cloud of witnesses, cheering me on. They remind me that Jesus loves me, and the Saints in Heaven love me. They remind me that I’m surrounded by love, and that I’ll be with them one day. If you feel that you are inspired by staring at a blank wall, go right ahead. But for me, sacred images consecrate the space to God, proclaiming that this is holy ground. Aware that He is always present with me and in me, I take off my sandals, bow down, and give glory to the Lord.

I just read the book by former Muslim Dr. Nabeel Qureshi, called, "Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus." I got it on Amazon.com. The book is a bestseller and is very positive. Every year thousands (or more) of Muslims secretly convert to Christianity, in Persia, and other areas. The reference to the sacrament of confession in Scripture: "Whosever sins you forgive shall be forgiven them; whosever sins you retain shall be retained," is John 20:19-23, not Matthew 16:18, which does as Mr. Ali said, reference the "power of the keys" Christ gave to Peter. The two passages are related, of course. Also, Mr. Ali says that "Christians" do not believe in the "House of Islam/House of War" concept, as in, we do not believe in the "House of Christianity" vs. "everybody else." I don't think that is quite true. The one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church had always taught with great clarity the doctrine of "Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus" (Outside the Church there is no salvation), with certain possible exceptions for the "baptism of desire" and "invincible ignorance." There has been little but double-talk since Vatican II regarding this formerly clear teaching. It would be difficult to see how one could be "saved" outside the Church since She dispenses the sacraments that Christ said were necessary for salvation, i.e., "If you do not eat of My Body and drink of My Blood you have no life in you." Jn. 6:53, etc. I think all of us who understand the stark reality of the nature of the Church and the necessity of the sacraments have to start telling the truth again regarding "Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus" and stop playing patty-cake with false religions, including protestantism. Our "separated brethren" deserve the harder truths delivered in clarity as well as charity. I do salute Mr. Ali for pursuing truth and having the courage of his convictions.

What Daniel Ali says about forgiveness in Islam is wrong. Read Surah 2: 62. Mary, mother of Jesus, is mentioned more times in the Qu'ran than she is in the bible and "People of The Book" (i.e. Christians and Jews) are already considered, from an Islamic perspective, to be on the path to salvation. MUHAMMAD (PBUH) PROPHESISED IN THE BOOK OF DEUTERONOMY: Almighty God speaks to Moses in Book of Deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 18: "I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and I will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him." The Christians say that this prophecy refers to Jesus (pbuh) because Jesus (pbuh) was like Moses (pbuh). Moses (pbuh) was a Jew, as well as Jesus (pbuh) was a Jew. Moses (pbuh) was a Prophet and Jesus (pbuh) was also a Prophet. If these two are the only criteria for this prophecy to be fulfilled, then all the Prophets of the Bible who came after Moses (pbuh) such as Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Malachi, John the Baptist, etc. (pbut) will fulfill this prophecy since all were Jews as well as prophets. However, it is Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who is like Moses (pbuh): i) Both had a father and a mother, while Jesus (pbuh) was born miraculously without any male intervention. [Mathew 1:18 and Luke 1:35 and also Al-Qur'an 3:42-47] ii) Both were married and had children. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not marry nor had children. iii) Both died natural deaths. Jesus (pbuh) has been raised up alive. (4:157-158) Muhammad (pbuh) is from among the brethren of Moses (pbuh). Arabs are brethren of Jews. Abraham (pbuh) had two sons: Ishmail and Isaac (pbut). The Arabs are the descendants of Ishmail (pbuh) and the Jews are the descendants of Isaac (pbuh). Words in the mouth: Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was unlettered and whatever revelations he received from Almighty God he repeated them verbatim. "I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him." [Deuteronomy 18:18] iv) Both besides being Prophets were also kings i.e. they could inflict capital punishment. Jesus (pbuh) said, "My kingdom is not of this world." (John 18:36). v) Both were accepted as Prophets by their people in their lifetime but Jesus (pbuh) was rejected by his people. John chapter 1 verse 11 states, "He came unto his own, but his own received him not." iv) Both brought new laws and new regulations for their people. Jesus (pbuh) according to the Bible did not bring any new laws. (Mathew 5:17-18). 2. It is Mentioned in the book of Deuteronomy chapter 18:19 "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not harken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him." 3. Muhammad (pbuh) is prophesised in the book of Isaiah: It is mentioned in the book of Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12: "And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned." When Archangel Gabrail commanded Muhammad (pbuh) by saying Iqra - "Read", he replied, "I am not learned". 4. prophet Muhammad (pbuh) mentioned by name in the old testament: Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is mentioned by name in the Song of Solomon chapter 5 verse 16: "Hikko Mamittakim we kullo Muhammadim Zehdoodeh wa Zehraee Bayna Jerusalem." "His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem." In the Hebrew language im is added for respect. Similarely im is added after the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to make it Muhammadim. In English translation they have even translated the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as "altogether lovely", but in the Old Testament in Hebrew, the name of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is yet present. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the New Testament: Al-Qur'an Chapter 61 Verse 6: "And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said, 'O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me and giving glad tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmed.' But when he came to them with clear signs, they said, 'This is evident sorcery!' " All the prophecies mentioned in the Old Testament regarding Muhammad (pbuh) besides applying to the Jews also hold good for the Christians. 1. John chapter 14 verse 16: "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever." 2. Gospel of John chapter 15 verse 26: "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me." 3. Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 7: "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you". "Ahmed" or "Muhammad" meaning "the one who praises" or "the praised one" is almost the translation of the Greek word Periclytos. In the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, and 16:7. The word 'Comforter' is used in the English translation for the Greek word Paracletos which means advocate or a kind friend rather than a comforter. Paracletos is the warped reading for Periclytos. Jesus (pbuh) actually prophesised Ahmed by name. Even the Greek word Paraclete refers to the Prophet (pbuh) who is a mercy for all creatures. Some Christians say that the Comforter mentioned in these prophecies refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to realise that the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus (pbuh) departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states that the Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of Elizabeth, and again when Jesus (pbuh) was being baptised, etc. Hence this prophecy refers to none other than Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). 4. Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 12-14: "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you unto all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me". The Sprit of Truth, spoken about in this prophecy referes to none other than Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

But man sinned against God by His disobedience and has distanced himself from God by His sin and disobedience. Throughout the history of man, sacrifices of animals have been offered to God by the high priest for absolution of sins of the people; year in and year out for thousands of years until the sinless perfect man Jesus who is also God Himself who came down as a man to give up His life as a ransom for many once and for all so that whoever believes in Him shall be saved . Uhmm, I'm not really familiar with the historicity of the Qu'ran except on what I've read once that there was no archeological evidence that muhammed himself has written it. According to that source, the oldest qu'ran may have been re-written throughout the centuries and there is no sufficient evidence that it is even authentic. Whereas compared to the Bible to which archeologists found a continuous flow between manuscripts. Unfortunately, our muslim brethren may not have even heard of the Dead Sea Scrolls which connects the present Bible to the ancient ones :) Just saying.

if you just listen 7mins to 12mins of the talk, this is clear to a pure Muslim that Daniel Ali has never been a Muslim by heart. Don't read the Quran according to prophet Mohammed's (PBUH) explanation. Muslim means a person who submitted his will to God (the almighty creator). Now any person who does this is a Muslim, and if the last revelation The Quran does not reach to him, that person will be judged on his life time action and by mercy of God, he might be able to enter paradise. Yes there is some basis where you can say someone is Muslim or not, like someone is saying I'm a Shia, or shunni or moderate Muslim or mainstream Muslim, -this ideas of dividing came from God's enemies and who accepted it can't be Muslim, now you can understand me if your heart is open as the Quran clearly mentioned "this is not the eye which cannot see, it is the heart which is blind" May God accept you if you are really looking for truth, Amen

Yes Md, I agree. In the beginning of Islam, there was no sunni or shia. But if the Quran truly was from God as Islam teaches, and God is all knowing, then God would have left someone to interpret the Quran correctly so that you would know the true interpretation because all books can be misrepresented... even the Quran! So who in Islam has that authority?

Her role is to bring us all closer to God, as not only did she risk her life in being obedient to Him,but her Faith and Trust in Him were all encompassing.
