your trail stopper reminds me of a spot in a utility access to a pirate camp site in my neighborhood... a vehicle swallowing erosion channel a few yards from river that is guaranteed to leave you 3 wheeling and maybe even 2 wheeling a couple times before you are past it.

Yeah sometimes fun but this one definitely wouldnt have been. What kind of rig do you have?

Interesting thought I’ve been going to the red river gorge for 20 years….I never even knew there were trails😂. It’s one of the premier rockclimbing destinations in the country, possibly world.

I did some of the hard section Nov ‘21. It didn’t go well. The guy in front of me rolled, I tried to pull line but my new Warn’s brake is apparently broke. Then some of the 2ft drops straight down into mud holes were worrisome. lol With the accident 2 hr delay due to transmission trouble, our group ran behind so I cut the day short to get home. I wish it went better. Then cleanup time. I knew I hated mud before but that clinched the deal. I’d rather rip my plastic bumper off on a rock. lol

sorry to hear that but sometimes i feel all that stuff just adds to the adventure. hope you get back out there and do it again and have fewer troubles the next time.

@@4thebrand283 I will. I mainly do this stuff for the view rewards but even though I live here, a dense forest floor starts to look the same after a while. I want to get back out west asap.

Been wanting to drive this trail and the KAT but I don’t have the vehicle for it. My longbed f150 would get stuck every half mile. Maybe I’ll try LBL first, I’ll stick to green and blue trails, anybody wanna meet me there some time?

@@mfnd502 ok good i was worried cause ive only experienced good things in Kentucky and on the other hand as a local you probably kinda dont like all the "terrorists" but that would be understandable. @@4thebrand283 There is so much here I haven't even seen yet. Beautiful state. I've hiked the Gorge a little bit, but never driven in DB. I am getting a gx470 ready for some light trail stuff. It looks like a great time. Tourism isn't a bad thing either, if locals can benefit. Bentonville Arkansas can lure Mountain Bikers with no mountains...
