All these statements are true. Also Khabib never looked beatable. Although skillset-wise Islam is more complete than Khabib. Islam comes across as more of a blue collar guy earning his stripes the hard way getting in there bloody and sweaty. Whereas Khabib had this aura and just dominated people start to finish.

Islam had the KO loss to Martins early on and Chris Wade gave him a really close fight that came down to a few scrambles. I agree, Khabib had an aura...Especially after his performance vs. RDA and then never looked back. Khabib was also the first of the crew to break through and had a bit more personality imo.....Both great fighters. Curious to see how he does at 170. If Edwards could handle Usmans wrestling in last 2 fights and we saw how volk handled Islams grappling, I think Edwards is a tough test.....IF he beats Belal. Trap fight imo.

A broken toe a month out isn’t something that would stop the fight. UFC doesn't want to pump up a fighter with a presser in another country if Conors is asking to leave in 2025. They probably told him you're going to get the same fight week media like the rest of the roster if you're not going to be with us much longer. Conor didn't cancel it was the UFC because Dana wanted to negotiate a new contract in person with Conor but conor wasn't with it so UFC said fine well cancel it and see you fight week.
