Wonderful that he’s so insightful. I loved the book, surprisingly loved the film and him in it. The book’s elements are so elusive that I never thought it could be turned into a coherent movie without sacrificing some large part of it. But here the book is “told” visually-a true achievement.

twin star you're right! In every interview, he's so quiet & reticent & never ever smiles -he just twists his mouth? Here, he's funny & happy. Since, though, I find he's very very shy. But I like that too. But yes, here, he talks & talks!

@bloodbeat1 I'm reading the book for my a levels, and im half way through, and i wanted to see how they did the first scene, and obviously the books are always better, but this film looks really good. Imma try and finish the book quickly to watch this!!

Really interesting interview... I think Jed was half expecting to be stabbed, but kind of felt he had no choice...

I like Daniel Craig, but did anyone else notice Rhys said more in a few seconds than Dan said this whole interview?

@bloodbeat1 nah its always better to watch the film of things then read the book. otherwise the film is going to be really lame. like the golden compass im sure i would have liked that film a lot more if i hadnt read the book. but then the film really was crap

Didn't occur to me before. Don't see or hear it at all.
