Watching back this interview 16 years later, we can also agree with the fact that he did an amazing job as Bond. He made an impressive victory in Casino Royale and rejuvenated the character in 21st century.

While I was very disappointed with Craig‘s final outing as a bond, it’s undeniable that he has been a fantastic servant to the role and has more than exceeded expectation in his ability. I’ll never Forget the hatred that was thrown at him before he was even in the role, and how he turned everyone around into believing and enjoying his work!

i love when he says at the end he has committed to two or three more... it's great in retrospect he probably never suspected he would do four more he did not see it taking over his life even though he has done other great stuff since i love Flashbacks of a Fool he has had such varied experience so soft spoken as Nicole Kidmans husband in the Body Snatcher film or the deadly fanatic monk in Elizabeth the Golden Age Defiance , WWII film i just love him such a talented actor with far more diversity he's the kind of guy i don't find sexy but he plays sexy so well in films fantastic in Spectre when he shoots a couple men, never seen anyone with his style
