I was so impressed with the story that I went through the credits afterwards to see who had written the script. It was the most complex character study I have ever seen on film. I haven't seen the Mother in quite some time, but I think its successor, VENUS, is just as good.

lol the kid i actually called harry in real life .and his sister in the film is his sister in realy life. he also happens to be my cousin. and the director is my unclee

i loved the movie but not the ending. it all was so daring and then it slided back into the stereotypes... sad, still great film.
