Only time I played minecraft it did not end well... LOL. We have a band and coral festival here in Moose Jaw every year. I've not gone and seen any of it since I was in my 20's but I'm told it's kind of fun. There is also some kind of dance things after that. It's nice outside here, if you like rain LOL. Crafts are always fun. Used to have a friend who could only communicate with a little computer she had. She loved to paint but had very limited motor funtion. I miss her, she was a fun person. But her life was short :(

+Julie Hasselberger Did you Order Daniel a "Weighted Blanket" I'm thinking about getting a 5 lb Weighted lap pad I'm down to 113 lbs from 127lbs That I lost "in just 1 WEEK" back on October 14th - 21st The Specialist thinks it might be Fybromyalgia , instead of Lupus, enthromatosis which I'm glad I Don't have Lupus anymore , Thank God ! My health is back. Fun packages will be arriving in the mail I will do a video showing stuff hopefully.

Too bad it was too hot to bring him outside. Nice still around the yard or neighborhood. We re stuck inside summer n winter, also. My daughter has CP, seizures. It does get a bit monotonous.. we tried painting n crafts, games, everything. Now that she s almost 13... mope n loaf. All she wants to do is either hang out in her bed or on the couch. Trying to get her interested in going to the library...for activities .. something to do

Sasha's friend who has been in some of video's who is also non verbal and in his chair quite gets the same way. He gets so mad has a complete meltdown I think it's so hard to be non verbal and sit in the chair all day :(

I want to send Daniel some homemade pillows and some stuffed toys for him to cuddle up to. Just some sensory items I believe that Daniel will like. And I can send bracelets for you all to wear. I just need more string and beads!

+Julie Hasselberger I just really enjoy watching your videos, I think about Daniel ALOT hes just the best. I like how he loves to swim. Have you thought about when you go to a pool allowing personal floatation devices putting Daniel in a tube or a lifejacket? Itd be easier, on my Birthday I'll save up money to buy things for Daniel and send you a package, I'm getting older and I think disabled people have a lot of personality, and why not be so selfish and give to others? One question, Have you tried doing some sort of watercolor painting with Daniel? I'm going to save as much money as I can, even though I have 15,000+ canadian dollars in my savings account, but I can't take it out until I'm 18 years old. So my goal is to save 500 dollars, which 400 dollars will be put to supplies and stuff for Daniel. the remaining 100 will be put to shipping and handling costs. I hope when I get the package done I can let you know it's on its way, I hope you will benefit out of a care package. maybe when the package arrives you can sit with Daniel and have him look at some of the stuff on vlog just to show me how Daniel likes it. I'm excited for your next vlog and more to come. -Mai

Hi Julie, what was the timeframe between Daniel getting fitting for, and ordering his wheelchair? I am just curious; I was fitted about 6 weeks ago for my own lightweight chair. I too, have some sort of autoimmune disease.

+Julie Hasselberger thanks. Daniel is Medicare (I think I remember you saying that), so I know it can take longer. They said because I have private insurance it should go faster. The wait is hard and long when you have nothing.

+Julie Hasselberger I have a portable lift which does take up room and is hard to store. I have been told by social services and OTs I will get a ceiling lift in my new home, whenever that will be. A portable lift was the only way to go at my parents' house because of the sloping roof in my bebroom, it was not possible to have a ceiling lift. I know what it is like not being happy in the chair, I was unhappy for a very long time in my old one but the new one is better, Is his positioning in the chair OK? I find for example I get really uncomfortable if anything is out of place. Fortunately, my fiance is great at fixing things, so he does it without us having to call a technician out to our home.
