Excellent interview. I’m trying to see all available. I had one canoe ride on the Montlake cut when a student in the 60s. Walked across campus from the old women’s dorms early morning Winter Qtr in the cold rainy weather to an algebra class in lower campus. Weather precisely as described by Dan Brown. Of course passing by Suzzallo Library and fountain. Beautiful campus. And remember all: Univ of Washington is “U Dub.” I grind my teeth every time Bay Area basketball team uses Dub. No No No Not yours. Fans, Media, stop using UW’s nickname. WE Wash huskies are U Dub and should be representing the Pac-12 at the Rose Bowl, our traditional venue.
