Wow. Great interview. Adam, your journalism chops and your poker background really served you well. Game recognizes game; I've been a fan of Daniel's for a long time and have seen him lose interest and go on autopilot when hosts/interviewers ask dumb questions. You kept him engaged for the duration. Outstanding. And thank you; this was an unexpected treat.

I never heard of this podcast but this was a great interview! I'm an oldhead poker player even tho I'm only 36. I first got into poker back in 2006 and Daniel was always one of my favorite poker players of all time. That truly was the golden age of poker watching the World Poker Tour on Travel Channel and the World Series of Poker on ESPN and High Stakes Poker on GSN. I miss those old PokerStars and Full Tilt poker days. It truly was the golden age.

Wherever larger amounts of money are gathered, there are some people who are willing to do whatever to get it. Seems like it would be so easy to cheat online poker. Get two to five people in a tourney on the phones. Eventually a few get on the same table. "Hey Jack i got AJ whaddyou got? "5,9" off. I'll bet it up to you..." etc. They could be in separate states, different countries. How are they going to get caught? No online for me.

I've watched poker coaches coach players on hands they've played that are absolutely ridiculous. I can't give an example, but I've seen times where they go over a hand and say you didn't get max value here. The problem is, at the time and thinking about exploiting certain players...the one learning from the coach, us watching back on the hands, (and not just seeing the hands) it was obvious the opponent flopped bottom pair let's say. So going for max value because gto says isn't going to win you more money. I don't believe this is a results orientated thinking, there are clear and obvious times when you have a pretty good idea of what your opponent has and going for max value is going to result in a snap fold. I sometimes see poker coaches and there math not quite adding up to +ev to me.

Cash is fun... tournaments are work. Now limit poker cash not being fun... I can get that. But NL and PLO and PLO8 cash.... def fun. Reg at HP in LA. How often you at a tourney and the table is laughing and drinking etc.... almost never. Live cash all the time. Especially if Edgar is at the table. PS. Good show guys thanks.

Dude, DNegs is making 208K a year just from his channel. Every day, his library increases so people will be watching videos for a decade and he'll continue making money off existing content. Thats based on roughly two years of growth/content which is incredible growth. Annnnd that's not including any other places from youtube. Sorry but that's not just peanuts anymore, Senior Mistore DNegs. You might be making a bunch off of your gambling and GG but that 208 will be well over 300k in another 6 months if you continue giving great content as you are.
