Should never have been indicted in the first place. Had he been convicted, there would have been enormous public outcry, and certainly an immediate pardon from President Trump. A civil conviction will result in a huge GoFundMe Page which I will personally contribute to. Either way, this man is a hero and should be respected.

Daniel Penny put his life on the line to help the other passengers because they were being threatened. I would hope someone would step in and protect me from a violent mentally ill aggresive person who was threatening the lives of everybody on that subway. I've been on those subways and there are a lot of people just trying to get where they need to be and at times there are dangerous people that get on those subways. Personally I think they need to have armed guards on there so civilians wont have to step up!

A headlock requires arms to be wrapped around the head and not the neck, hence the name. He had his arms around the neck and throat. He cut off the air and blood supply to his brain. He held it for six minutes and continued to compress and hold onto the neck even after Jordan Neely stopped moving. If he only got the not guilty verdict by his looks, mostly for his hair (i.e., people believe that Cameron Herrin shouldn't be in prison because of his eyes and the late Aaron Hernandez should never have gone to prison for first degree murder because they thought he was handsome), I wouldn't be surprised by how fickle and shallow people actually are.
