5th is so fantastic, you can really see a change in his acting there on so many levels. The death scene, him battling the evil voices, the part when he screams LOOK AT ME when trying to talk to Dumbledore. So much more to add.

My favourite is the 3rd. The introduction of Sirius, lupin, wormtail, etc… lots of cool stuff with the marauders map, time turner, harry learning to cast patronus charm. Lots of character building moments and a new dark mature tone

I also tend to lean towards the later entries in the film series, due to them getting darker after each film. I believe the 4th is where you start to catch glimpses of where the tone of the movies start to shift in a darker direction, as well as witnessing a murder first hand in one of the films. The 5th plays even darker into those tones as you go down the rabbit hole. Then my all time favorite, the 6th film, I believe to be one of the darkest of the series as it ends on a terrible note of death and despair. I also enjoy very much watching the children grow up into adults, who are able to handle the darker aspects of the things happening to them.

Its so trippy watching the earlier movies vs the later ones. Theres definitely this certain charm it gives off. More light hearted etc. The last two films could of been a stand alone it was so different and dark. I kind of wish we got one more after that as they were adults

The last ones were direct by different director than beginning & middle ones, so the one had vision approach them as wanted to "bring a sense of jeopardy and character to the world", producer thought him capable of handling the edgy, emotional, and political material of the later novels.

The 5th movie missed out on a lot of things for the sake of time, but OOTP still remains a great movie!! And yes, many did not like the change in darker tones at all after David Yates took over, but it's very fitting to the atmosphere of the movie especially due to the events taking place. Many scenes in the 5th movie were acted out very well too and for the most part stayed faithful to the book's storyline.

My favorite BOOK is the 5th one too. It’s the longest book and have so much content but they cut most of it in the movie version which disappoints me. Order of Phoenix should have been 2 movies like Deathly Hallows or 1 movie but atleast 3 hours long. My favorite MOVIE though is Prisoner of Azkaban. The cast look exactly like the characters, the scenes were powerful, and even though they also cut some scenes it still stay true to the storyline on the book.
