Zak Brown is the best boss ever! You could see he was so delighted to give Danny a go at the car. He's like the awesome dad that doesn't mind letting his son drive his precious collection of cars because he earned it. Kudos to Zak and his team for maintaining Dale's car. Such a thrill to watch!

I'm just poking fun. Alonso leaving had nothing to do with it. Zak was already at McLaren but only had a couple years with Fernando so couldnt change things that quick. He tried SO hard to keep Fernando too... you saw it in all his interviews and then in the video 'A-river-dirt-cheese"

for those wondering, I'm for the most part confident saying that, the wheel is slightly pointed right cause it's meant for oval racing which helps makes it easier for the driver to hold left turns for longer

Yeah I’ve actually heard some rumors that some nascar teams set their cars up to slowly drift left so you actually have to essentially turn slightly right on the straightaways.
