Agree about the radar. A radar shows targets even if they're not transmitting on AIS. Even here is So Cal here are commercial fishing boats the disconnect their AIS tranponder to fish out of season or for restricted species.

@@BerthonInternational I actually like aesthetic. Not every trawler has to look like a Grand Banks but that forward mast is just so ungainly.
