I also attended a church where the Elders were well versed in fund raising. They had a large treasury & made it apparent that their goal was to recruit professionals with high incomes. That was more than a decade ago, I've stopped going there & understand that membership is, & has been, at a standstill. Unfortunately there are too many churches that are run that way.
