Lovely to watch these beautiful mixes come to life. ❤️ Recommend trying two water jars. One to clean your brush and another to load up with clean water for painting. Nice to not have to change your water as often. 😊

Using two water jars is very common practice with watercolorists. One for the dirty rinse and one for the clean rinse. This helps stop contamination and you can paint longer without changing the water.

I watched the Jean haines video the other day and I'm not familiar with the greens in here either and I don't have the aussie red gold seeing them mix was greatly helpful and now I'm dying to buy new paint lmao!!! Ps. I know the imperial purple isn't your favourite but I've had it on my palette for about 8 months I wasn't sure about it at first but Ive come to love it as a mixture for lighter purples that granulate. My favourite purples are cobalt violets and I love the inky carbazole so I find when I want a granulating purple with reds it has a good place if I'm too lazy to mix my own lol cheers from Canada and blessings to you, thank you for making the videos they are very helpful to me as you and I have similar taste for vibrant pigments xo

for the fleshy mixing did you mean you were using a ochre from a non-set tube, or wer eyou using the nickel azo yellow?

I wonder if the opera is more lightfast when mixed with those colors?

If you mix a fugitive colour like Opera Pink with a lightfast colour, what would happen over time that Opera Pink would still loose vibrancy within the mix and the mixed colour would therefore also change, but that’s when it is exposed to direct sun. :)

master Conor 2 colours in 1 pan? I’d start with pigments and experiment. You’d need to find a combination that has an evident pigment separation. :)
