I used to watch Tosh.O religiously. There was an episode where he had tea party (or something like that, it's been minute) with a little girl. He was completely sweet and appropriate with her. It was kind of awesome. I think it was the same episode where he laid into parents who'll let their kids do anything that'll get them a SAG card... including being on his show.

Tosh is one of those rarefied comics where you are constantly asking "should I be laughing at this?" while you can't stop laughing at it. BUT, what makes Tosh unique is the foundation of his humor is not anger, or spite, or hatred, or divisiveness, it's instead meant to dull the razors of life that make us bleed. Too many comics out there unleash their emotional arrows into the world and try to later say "it's just a joke gtf over it". Look into Tosh's life and his various charitable actions and you find a genuinely nice guy trying to improve the world, not burn it down.
