Thinking the same thing. Very progressive. Loved the introduction of distortion on the acoustic. No one really does it, but it doesn't sound terrible. You just have to tone it down.

I can imagine hearing this in a post-apocalyptic movie in a part where some survivors are walking along with images of ruins and wasteland around... Very atmospheric and errie at the same time. Very nice.

That's exactly what it is:) "The Waste Land" is actually 4 movements making up a 10 minute long opening piece for my album "The Singularity." Movement 1-2 = Caldera and Movement 3-4 = Discordia. Inspired by Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series!
