This is developer beta, and I doubt, that you are a developer at all, if you don't understand basic principles, how the iOS works, and if you don't backup your data before you do any developer beta installation. 😉

Guys I recommend as much as the beta looks cool u should wait until ios 18 drops in September its lowkey no use to doing it early when its on the brink of issues and problems and bugs, because if u never updated while on ur ios 17 than everything is technically gone if u plan to downgrade pls dont not let ur phone get damaged by the update wait until the time is nesscary it will cause blinking mileage on storage problems with ur battery life, Problems with ur storage and a decrease of ur phone mobility ❌ do not update❌

maybe it is a hardware issue, iOS 18 caused bad sectors on the device you're using, if you're getting error 4013 on itunes when installing the software, I'd recommend sending it to tech support

Mine didn’t work. It said because my iPad had iOS 18 also that it wouldn’t restore my iCloud. So unfortunately i had to update it again and and did other stuff too to restore my data which took so long that i thought my phone would stop working. But it’s fine now. The problem i had was my phone accessing photos and using camera in Snapchat, Facebook, etc. but its working fine now.

iTunes keeps telling me that I have to turn off Find My before I can continue.... but Find My is already turned off. Did anyone else have this issue? And after this downgrade ans i chose restore from icloud back up from my mac. will it go back to ios 18 or stay on 17 with my data still on their from my back ups. And will i lose my esim if i do this downgrade?

I had the same problem. Before clicking "Restore iPhone" you need to hold on a PC with windows the "Shift" button on the Mac you need to hold the "Option" key. If you are holding the key just click the "Restore iPhone" button and search for the file IOS 17.5.1 where u Download it and iTunes will do the rest for himself

i had the same problem aswell but if your using a pc and not a mac book, make sure the usb youre using is connected in the right port on the pc, then try again and it should work

hey, if I backed up all my stuff BEFORE downloading ios 18 beta, but didn't backed up my photos (stupid) do I need to back up on this version and I'll have everything just fine when I downgrade? or it's over and I can say goodbye to my gallery photos?

If u backed up ur phone before u registered for the update and decided to downgrade and go back to normal than everything should of saved but if u never back up ur ur photos or anything on ur phone prior to u installing the update than no everything is deleted
