@@amarisocasio320 it wont let you restore to an iOS 18 backup on iOS 17. If you don’t have an iOS 17 backup and you don’t wanna lose your data, you’re stuck on iOS 18. You can downgrade to 17 but then you’ll have to start from scratch.

This has been very helpful. I been wanting my iPad mini 6 to go back to iOS 17 and I’ve done everything as the video says. I have a backup of my iPad on iOS 17 but now my Mac tells me it needs an update of software to do the restauration of my iPad mini that runs iOS 18. Mine stopped at the middle of restoring, says " iphone cannot bw restore" and phone won't load up, it's stucks in the recovery mode
