I just spent 2 days, successfully transfering all the pics, vids, contancts and apps, and logging in etc etc...wth my new phone..from the old phone...and then, used this to WIPE all the data and factory reset my old phone .........until i just realized...I I JUST RESET MY NEW PHONE AND ALL THE DATA I JUST PUT ON IT .................... I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy and transferred everything on it from my old phone. After that I installed the Sim card in the new phone, as well as my SD card. Now, before I do the factory setting thing here, should i First take out the Sim card and SD card? Because my phone number is on the Sim that I want to keep. Even after cleaning memory all off & resetting it, the Galaxy Samsung S7 starts to go black after 3-5 min. Have to blow-dry to get it to come back up. Believe that tells me it is not software but a hardware issue. Thanks anyway.

I do not have a backup or cloud back up option on the samsung android I am using, I also don't have a sofware update option. I have been told the phone is not a dud by having the Status, Legal information, etc. So I am at a loss and to what I should do with the phone, I just might bin it....
