I've always had these questions ," Where are those wealthy Christians? Why there are more heathen millonares than Christian ones"? It should be the other way! A lot of churches associate wealth with evil but the funny part is that they need financial support from these rich people. I believe it's all hypocrisy. The church needs wealthy people to continue with it's doors open. Therefore, we need to be wealthy to support our churches financially.

I have a few more to add to this list. 1. They are drained by leaders in the church 2. They don't focus on themselves and do what it takes to make it to the next level 3. They gossip too much about people who attend the same church 4. They feel like a person should be a work mule for the Lord 5. They do t believe in work, they believe in church politics and believe things will just appear 6. They always think everyone is having sex outside of marriage 7. They think over people are going to cause others to fall in their walk in Christ 8. They don't know systems 9. They don't invest in buying books or listening to audio books that will help them

Churches are everywhere, though, so it depends on the area the Christians congregate. The couple churches I went to in the 70's & 80's, the parishioners were at least middle class to upper class. Not mega rich, but your title says "broke".

I don't understand how asking God (Reason #6) would make a difference. I've found that there's no way to prove something happened BECAUSE you prayed for it. Plus, there's no guarantee it will be answered to begin with. So, why waste time praying for something and waiting for an answer when you could work to make a difference yourself?
