I completely lost all my creative energy when my husband died four years ago and I really missed this very important part of my life. Wonderful… I’m really enjoying the organic concept and allowing the sections to blend into each other resulting in a snip it roll story. Blending forward and backwards with the negative space. Well done! For me the prompt “direction” will represent heading into the future… I envision mountains under a blue sky with pathways to choose from… say maybe 🤔 a journey through 2024. I have wanted to do wool stitching, love the idea of slow stitching and using bits and pieces I have stitched or collected over the years. Thus project will be perfect to use all three things with the freedom to add at will anything else. I love the scroll idea but I am thinking for my first I like the idea of book pages. Love the Organic feel of this progress…….and yes “open spaces” is such a release for allowing creative juices to “brew”……instead of feeling like “everything MUST be in its place”…..plus there is the argument for “negative spacing “ which with your other clues/designs gives the “one” who picks this up as a piece of Art a chance to read between the lines …..Happiest New Year 2024….

I'm excited for this. I think instead of a snippet roll I'm going to do a little stand alone piece each month. Kind of like a mini wall hanging. Perhaps a 6x6. I love stamping the word for each month on it. Got a brand new notebook to put all my notes in. Excited about this. thank you and love from MN.
