I still can't believe how complex the music from these old Mega Man games was. We really were spoiled growing up with the NES. I think the Heat Man theme is my favorite from this game. Sick bassline. Also, Heat Man looks like a Zippo lighter which is funny to me

It's 2024 and I came across a YT of a guy going over the changing melody of the intro utilizing a piano. I was like, I wonder if anyone did the opening in guitar and to a pleasant surprise I found this complete guitar video, AWESOME!!! Cara... esse é um dos trampos mais monstro que já vi no YT. Só fazer essa transcrição, com esse monte de notinha e passagens rápidas, deve ter dado um trabalho gigante. Depois tem o trabalho de decorar tudo, e executar (!!). Tirar cada voz de guitarra, decorar cada uma, executar essas partes rítmicas, deve ter sido super dificil. Depois teve o trampo de fazer o arranjo (fazer uma musica grudar na outra). Isso sem contar a timbragem. Depois programar essa batera... deve ter sido um pesadelo!!! Não bastasse tudo isso, tem as imagens do jogo com menus e outras palavras customizadas... e as filmagens suas tocando as (belissimas) guitarras. Parabéns, tá impecável demais, obra prima. To an 80s kid NES music is like Mozart. Not discounting the brilliance of Mozart or trying to prop up video game music. Just , in my brain, Dr. Wiley's castle and the moon theme from Duck Tales resides in my brain the same as Mozart's requiem or Beethoven's fifth. You have to respect rhythm, melody, harmony, and timber and both have it.

This is really good and this in my opinion is one of the 8-bit rock version of mega man out there. A shame the original name was lost in the west, because this game real name IS Rockman. I think the composer actually intended rock songs using the limited chiptune capabilities of the famicom (nes).

It gives me the feels as only the real soundtrack had before...it’s nice because you made it yours without straying from what makes the original so timeless.
