It is a fantastic kit! The Melbourne Fire Brick Company were fantastic to deal with for me. They’ve built a reputation and people who have done their research know this is one of their kits. Nice video mate

I've been watching your videos for a long time and I decided to make my oven based on your work!!! Is it possible to know where you got the base of the oven?

@staryi5119 you can't avoid needing use an occasional differnt size brick or the mortar joins will line up at some point. You make sure you have them to the side near the front. It is rude to insult the worksmanship when you don't understand the project.

No insulation between the concrete and the tile floor. The floor will never hold the heat. Shame. All that work and it will never cook right.
@DanielDemir5 ай бұрын
Are you kidding me? I used 2” thick calcium silicate boards under the floor tiles which is known as the best insulation material for brick ovens. Plus I added one inch thick refractory castable at the top of these boards before installing the floor tiles.

@@DanielDemirlooks good to me for a pizza oven. By trade I'm a boilermaker. We use installation block, then installation brick and lastly fire brick. The mortar joints was a little thick. We're allowed 1/8" joints. Other than that, you would make a great boilermaker.

Why hide the fact you used a kit from the Melbourne fire brick company, you masked their logo?
@DanielDemir11 ай бұрын
I just don’t do free advertising on my channel. I spend tons of hours and should be paid a little amount for advertisements to be able to survive. The company refused all of my offers including a small discount for the kit.
