Thanks for sharing this. I just saw them opening for Khruangbin in Portland ME last week. As usual, the sound guys decided to up the bass freqs by 30db. This has always been a thing, I guess, for reasons I do not understand. Kikagaku Moyo was great live, but I'm so glad to have vids like this one to listen to them as they should be heard.

What effect does that have on the live sound? Does it just make the signal sound muddy and indiscernible?

The bassist is always hidden at the back right of the drums. You can see the bass at 1:09:09 and 1:09:44. Believe it.

It's all subjective. I don't get jazz. I don't get this. Yh, there was a lot of bandwagon generic pun, but there was a lot of groundbreaking stuff too. This isn't.

@@cptspaulding64 this isn't groundbreaking or anything. these guys do border on jazzy jams sometimes. It can be a bit boring to the outside ear. I really like this stuff when I'm stoned.
