I surrendered my whole life to Jesus in my living room 11 years ago and when I felt Gods holy presence and his love it changed me forever and there's not a second that goes by that I don't think about him. Eric I relate to you so much and I cry every time I listen to you. The Lord shows me that it's because we are one in our quickened spirits. Sweetheart can you please tell me how it felt? I am a beginner and I don't have a physical person who will teach me how to increase in intimacy with him. So I try to see how to do it on my own. But I have been praying for GOD to show me the truth on how to truly connect with him in prayer, how to truly feel his love towards me as I do towards him and his presence. Honestly I only did worship two times the second I felt discouraged and unbelief. The first time I felt this high over me. I only did it two times. And then I became undisciplined with it. Son Of Jesus i hope you’re still walking with Jesus. I just want to say read the Bible especially the gospels and the New Testament and the psalms. Cry out to Him and ask Him to not let go of your hand. Humble yourself in prayer and ask Him to kiss you and comfort you and never leave you. Cling onto Him like your life depends on it. He know how much we need Him but He wants to ask Him. Praying for you my brother that Jesus embraces you with His sweet love all day everyday.

Thank you so much. When it comes to time for prayer, I always pray on the move, continually, but I love this sermon about making time for prayer alone in the still and quiet. I found myself worrying I'm going to be late for work if I do that in the morning. But I did feel, in all my anxiety, that God spoke to me and asked me to be still for 10 minutes and stop and be with him alone before I ran around and went to work that day. I was afraid of running late, but I listened and did this. I felt so much peace through it and set up for the day. I looked at the clock afterwards and realised that time had waited for me and more importantly for my heavenly Father. I got ready and went to work, not having forgotten all the things I forget in my haste normally. I was not late and I was rested in my soul and set up for the day.

I have found the way to move from the discipline of prayer to the desire to pray, which is to say “wanting” to spend time with Him is to surrender everything to God. Surrender every part of who you are…all your desires and dreams for your life and give yourself completely to Jesus, you will or I should say I found a love in the presence of Jesus like I have never known. I always begin with a heart of worship and thanksgiving, worship turning into a time of prayer.

Quality is better than quantity, I agree, at the same time it shouldn't excuse you from spending longer time with God. Remember even Jesus prayed from Midnight till morning, that's around 6 hours. I would recommend praying for atleast an hour a day. The more the better.

Andrew Murray 1828-1917 helped me on the simplicity of what it means to abide in Chris. He says just any moment you think of him just verbally acknowledge I abide in you and I trust in you and it will cultivate his constant presence. Wigglesworth learned to discipline himself and take time out every half hour to read the bible. Im blessed with a job that on the most part allows me to take time out every half-hour and read the Bible. I have found it very challenging to practice that. You get caught up in the rush rush of the day and begin to yield thoughts and emotions in a striving worldly way, and have to stop and smell the roses,(the rose of Sharon )and yeild thoughts and emotions in a peaceful Godly way.

Wow, i am learning, i mean, God also tests us how much we want him, there is scripute that first seek kingdom of God and everyithg else will be added on us, that means also, if we fear that ee cant pay pills and we need to be slaves to work and spend less time with God, we have disbelif to not have food on table and God cant take care of, istn that fear also we need to check on? I really enjoy all that Eric teaches and Daniel you asked exactly the questions one would need to learn as a new Christian for example. But I find it a bit disappointing that even after re positioning the question again...of how often should we pray and for how long Eric has for some reason avoided the answer. We all know the more we pray the more our desire to do this develops. As an ex Muslim I used to pray 5x a day so its doable for sure even in a normal day to day life and sometimes its good to just say, try your best to Yes take an hour out Morning, Midday and evening to keep yourself Oiled and in the presence of Yeshua is all we need to hear. Some guidance to get those people started who have not yet reached the level you guys are at 😊 Bless you both for raising the questions and helping guide us to our Amazing Father in Jesus name 🙏🏾

If you are busy, take five minutes in the car or the shower or bathroom, to pray, and then He will end up easing your day and before you know it, things will flow more smoothly and efficiently. Start your day with Him, and He will come into your day. And others (wife, family, church) will pray for you a d your day and job and your life and busyiness.
