Jason Adihetty a lot of people are starting to feel that way. Even if they make some changes, there is no need to spend 2000 on a board for average users. Extreme users may need a 2-3000 dollar board but not everyday riders. Especially with board like Exway, Wowgo and Backfire especially Exway and Backfire they have good after sale services

For new viewers considering this board, I just wanted to mention that the Exway flex is now with 216Wh as mentioned on their website, but not 259Wh when dkwan made this video. That would means a range would be different and the BMS could probably be changed too. Just FYI since I am shopping as well.

I got the exway flux hub motor about 2 weeks ago and it's been great! I got a 17 mile range (weight 150 pound, mostly flat surface going on average 17 MPH with an outside temp of 40 degree fahrenheit)

Bro can I just say your videos are the most polished I've seen on KZbin. The amount of effort you put in is clear. Keep it up and stay safe dude. Also, exway is literally the best esk8 company. Prebuilt eboards have finally reached me requested level of price and quality. I have no complaints of any of those specs. Particularly the battery, that's quality cells and a very smart bms.

I know this video is about 2 months old but after checking out all these videos about Exway Flex Riot and Exway as a whole, I decided to get Flex Riot but unfortunately... they got delayed to May. But waiting isn't an issue for me as I'm a casual rider and don't like going too fast and love commuting around city (getting to work with e-board). Thanks for your videos, Daniel. I cannot wait to get my hands on this. First thing I am going to do is get two sets of Orangatang wheels mix and match.

Aaron Lu its standard for higher end boards. In fact some do charge only bms so your discharge rate is insane and not limited by your bms which exway did. Pretty sucky if u ask me.

​@@EverythingbyMatt I personally think the Wowgo and Exway are better boards overall just due to the ESC, as T much prefer the Hobbywing esc's control interface vs the meepo's. This is a personal preference though and for the price, the Meepo is a decent board. I just prefer the belt drive and Hobbywing ESC in the Wowgo 3x and Exway Flex and thus make them my choices for the best eboard for the price right now.

Great Video! Question: as you ride do you notice a reduction in top speed or acceleration? I know you mention a reduction in braking power when battery is less than full. I saw another review claiming boosted boards do not reduce performance even when battery is less than full.

Dylan Brand the Ownboard is much bigger and heavier. It has much more range though. Things you should consider ▶️How portable do you need your board to be? ▶️exway has good rep for customer service ▶️Do you like having an app ▶️ How much range do you need

The ownboard at is more capable than the exway flex in terms of off road advantage and range. However, since it's an AT board it's naturally less portable and takes more to charge and it's at a higher price. Depends on how good the condition of the road and range will be it's 2 different boards for 2 different buyers

Fantastic info overload. There is a problem with my exway flex battery; Now three time in a row it cuts power between 36% and 29% and go to 0% immediately and disconnected with remote and I'm not the first one who have a problem with the flex battery. I sent an email to exway and waiting for their replay. This video influence a lot of guys to buy this board so I hope exway have the responsibility to solve the defects.

I had a go on a freidns Meepo, and Evolve a few weeks ago, and that was it.. I was so inspired! I love the sound and look of the Exway Flex, I just want to cruze and carving and find my fun joy skating feet once again, with the amazing electric capabilities. There are some great reviews out there, like yours, which have inspired me to pay a little more, and get an awesome board like the Flex. Now I am just trying to decide between the Hub and the Riot. Ultimatley, I can start with one, and then add the other. For now, I would like a super smooth ride. People mention the noise of the Riot, and that it will need more maintanence, but it seems to soun pretty cool.. and looks like it has great torque and grip. I bought the exway x1 in early oct.2019 from the San Francisco store, lots of issues with them...they didnt even know what the website offered when it came to sales promotion's. They sent me the board but forgot the additional free set of wheels and upgraded charger, my wife had to call them several times. Dont get me wrong... I love the board , so much that i ordered the riot pack, unfortunately it took a month to arrive and when it did come they forgot to include the hub accessories, which is why i bought it, so i could put real wheels on it. I hope with this new exway flex they get there shit together !

Ooh! Production value has gone up noticeably. For a second, I thought the elements at 13:15 were 3d tracked. Only complaint is that the color grade caused teal pollution around black objects, like railings and shoelaces.

I put an order in 10 days ago and had to talk to a Reddit ambassador because my emails went unheard. I guess everyone is buying boards now that quarantine is over and they are sold out but they had a flash sale when they are sold out? Very weird just say sold out not pay an extra $80 for fast shipping when you have to wait 45 days anyways.

so the x1 pro + riot is still their flagship product, yet it seems liike the flex's performance will overall outpace the x1 pro variants. There may be a noticeable accel difference, but the flex gets the winning advantage with range and minimal voltage sag

Good review. eSkate range claims are just straight out misleading, as you say, should definitely be a range specified as otherwise will be a lot of disappointed consumers when they're only getting 2/3 of the quoted range at best.

Is the weather condition can affect the battery performance? Coz you said you tested it when 43-54 Fahrenheit. Is it makes a difference if you test it in about 70-80 Fahrenheit?

Hi Daniel, RE: PULLEY - BELT, Does it mean it is the same riot drive, BUT with a new drive gear and pulley? Meaning if one wants to upgrade or use the 15mm belt he just have to purchase a new version of pulleys and gear? Or maybe the new belt will fit the v1 riot without changing anything?
