$1200!? With only a ten mile range? With those specs at that price this board already sounds dated and not worth it for the price. Great video though!

I’ve been riding the v1 since they came out, the inserts makes a lot of difference because it reinforces the “tire wall” and greatly improved range while also decreasing “comfort”. Without the insert I was getting the same range as my pneumatics which is disappointing given the size difference now I am getting closer but still no where near the range of a normal solid wheel, the 10% increase that the manufacturer stated sounds about right. I rid them without inserts for a long time because delivery was pricey for me in the uk and i didn’t have the chance to buy them when I got the wheels initially so I have a good understanding of what’s different and what’s not. Spent a lot to get these over here but most of that is really supporting the company through its initial stages of getting to the market as while they are different it’s not something that completely blows your mind. There’s gives and takes, but in my opinion more takes on the v1 no idea about the v3 as I still have the v1 on whilst writing this and don’t feel I need to upgrade anytime soon.

For the helmet I want to add that it's important that you have a helmet that protects the backside of your head as these type of injuries often are the worst.

My mate left me with a flex born for freedom and i don't know how to get it to work the button comes on and the remote control vibration and he lost the charger i think there are 4 charger here but not fitting the holes so i don't now 😢😢😢😢

A friend of mine attempted to buy an x1 max 3 days ago from a business that wasnt exway (online) they sent him a message saying the manufacturer doesnt have any in stock as theyre coming out with a new model early next year. While not concrete evidence i would say thats a pretty good sign

I love the concept, glad that they moved to 72A urethane. But now they are the same weight as madwheels v1 (meepo cyclone 105, tynee soft wheels, boosted 105) before inserts. I think the main comparison should be with those wheels. Do they add enough comfort and efficiency to justify added complexity and price? Currently I'm running 5" (125mm) pneumatics on the front and madwheels on the back of my board. The back wheels seem to have more effect on the range, and less effect on the comfort (at least on a kicktail deck). So I think it would make sense to try inserts on the back only.

My mechanical mind left the chat when I saw the steel pins in the insert 😅 Rotational mass is surely more important on a motorcycle but it's still a factor. First thing that did come to mind was replacing them with carbon rods. I'm not an engineer though.

Neat Wheels, like the idea but I also like the idea of less time adjusting my wheels, less parts to worry about and just riding. No hate though, the idea is solid and kinda makes sense for certain riders.

For anyone wondering about this - just get the hardware removed. I had mine removed 3 days ago and the surgery does not compare to getting it installed. Full weight bearing right away, you walk out of the hospital and you only feel very minor pain for the incisions, don't even need tylenol after the first day. Already less pain and stiffness in the joint itself, absolutely worth it.

This is exactly what I am looking for and found them yesterday! I have a Meepo Hurricane and have the board top mounted with 1cm risers and 190mm AT for as much ground clearance as possible for riding single track MTB trails. Much slower than a MTB but still fun. Endeavor would be my upgrade here, but not yet interested as the Hurricane still has good life and cost a pretty penny in 2022. So the rear mounted motors are good in this situation. However, I want range. Enter the Tynee Explorer Pro 1008Wh on 110r Rovers. To fit it in my trunk of the SUV I need to go from 45" down to the 38" to create a hybrid AT board into a street board like that of the voyager, Ultra X Pro and flex. Meepo wins with Wh @ 544, then Ultra @504 and Flex tied but $500 more for Paragon? No thanks, cool lights broski. [secretly jealous over a useless feature]. But the Explorer Pro's 1008Wh as a flex street touring board! YES! I can ride the hurricane 22 miles at a time on the aforementioned set up but when the wife wants to hop on her road bike and ride at 20mph I am not going to spend 30-60 minutes mounting wheels and dropping my deck down. while the battery is 70% aka not fully charge. Now the question is do I but the 4WD kit for $300 or the 2WD for $290. Put one on the Hurricane for a RKP rear and DKP front truck? Then the Explorer would have RKP rear under board mount and TKP front. Basically 2 boards get an upgrade for $10 more and I can stomach that $300 better.

So are we talking Goldi Locks here, not too tight, not too loose, but Just right.

when I hold to display button in and turn on the X-T1 at the same time - the camera begins to turn on then goes black/shuts off. any advice or have you ever experienced similar issues while updating a lens? when I connect my 80mm macro, I get a message saying “turn off camera and turn on again” - my other 3 lenses work just fine.

hey daniel just looking through the exway website and i noticed theres a geardrive V2 and it looks awesome the first gear drive ive seen with a 'gearbox' in that its adjustable with its gear ratio this looks awesome for the esk8 world and i was wondering if you might potentially be going to look into it?, even for a short video to just go over the technology behind it

How do you think RIpple compares to Tynee' s Mini 3 SL? Besides range and price, does the Ripple ride better, is the quality better? etc.

It would be better if companies just included a decent freaking charger, instead of having to buy an aftermarket or third party charger. How about we get on companies that provide crappy chargers and complain till they start giving us better chargers?
