Danielle Bisutti, who plays the incredible role of Freya in the God of War series that Sony revitalized back in 2018, was kind enough to sit down with me and talk about her experience with this amazing game.
We talk about how she acquired the role, her most iconic moments during the capturing process, and what is next for the franchise!

I was BLOWN away of course by everyone’s performances. Mr. Judge?! Are you kidding me?!?! But there was something about Freya this game that I could not stop rooting for. Her journey, the ups and downs, seeing her literally reclaim and find herself. Same with Kratos. Being able to be there with them and see that..I am still thinking about these characters and moments. What a privilege to be alive rn. Thank you SMS!!!! I need MORE!!! Not cuz I am a mindless, slaughter monster…but I need more of these people in my life!! They mean so much to me!! First of all, great interview my man. This was so well done and you guys went off each other very well. Danielle was also awesome, not only in the interview but the game. Second of all, holy shit this game was so damn good. GOW 2018 was my favorite game ever and this blew that out of the water IMO. There have never been a story game draw me in like these games (besides maybe the bioshock franchise). I don’t know what it is, but they are so amazing where it pains me to even put them down to go to bed. If possible, it’d be awesome to see more interviews in the future 🙂

Like I understand the game is pretty linear, but as a person that works quite a bit and is tired a lot I actually appreciated being able to do everything in a linear manner rather than having to explore for days. Yeah man, I cried like 4 times during that whole game. Was very emotional and connected to me a lot.

It was a little weird, because there was an embargo at the time of recording - but afterwards she told me I could post everything if I did it after a certain date. So i couldn't really dive into certain things due to spoilers (at the specific time of recording) so my mind set was a little different. but we did talk about the whole scene with freya and getting freed after the Nidhoger fight. Unless you are referring to something else?

the game ended with Boi going on his own path and he did talk about visiting other cultures like Tyr; and Kratos Mimir and Freya going for other adventures. i think we can be certain more GOW games like this will come.

One Curiosity: before Freya/Frigg married Odin she had Married and had another son with another man And she was happy in Vanahaim her son is Hoder The blind God That in the original Mythology he was manipulated by Loki to kill Baldur and Vali the son of Odin kills this son of Freya for revenge for Baldur's death and in the past too Freya had their necklace made by the dwarves stolen just like Thor's hammer but this event was not put in the game unfortunately :/ Hopefully we get one more game on Norse Mythology and have several stories,Creatures/bosses and Gods that haven't appeared yet

I was trying not to spoil the conversation Kratos and Freya had, because Danielle told me right before recording that we had an embargo, which was later not applied, lol. Anyways, I was talking about how I didn't know he had a previous wife and child that died. And to make a long answer even longer - I didn't play 1 or 2, and I think I played 3, but if I did it was VERY brief and I certainly don't recall story beats. I remember the cover very vividly at one of my buddies houses. I didn't really play video games in high school. That being said, if Kratos's past they are talking about is in 1/2/or 3, then I didn't know that specifically. I have watched videos from die hard GOW fans, and they always say that these new games basically have nothing to do with the old ones - so I figured it was just made up lore that happened "outside" of 1/2/and 3. Sorry for the long answer, just wanted to be clear.
