I get why you both are reserved on the thought of moving in together, take your time!! But you can definitely maintain independence while living with a partner! Don’t feel pressured because we all live on different timelines but also don’t get scared of the life changes that’ll come with moving in w a partner. Otherwise, being worried and it not making sense can become an easy cop out for not progressing in a relationship.

I have seen all of the buildings you showed when I was looking for an apartment. With that being said: Number #4 is in Tribeca but in a bad location in Tribeca. There is a reason why they haven’t been able to sell many apartments in that building. Number #2 is on 5th avenue and you will not like it there when it’s high tourist season or when there is a parade. The one in Chelsea for sure. Xx

I've been with my boyfriend for four years and we both have transitioned from living with roommates to living alone separately. People always ask why we don't live together (especially here in NYC where we could save so much money) but I feel EXACTLY the same way you do - if we're going to live together forever, I'd love to cherish these years living alone in my twenties.

I love your decision! Was in a 10yr relationship and we lived together for prob 7 years out of the 10. Ended up moving to the east coast with him and everything. Broke up a year ago and I’m living alone for the first time at 31. I’m dating someone new and obviously I wouldn’t even think of moving in yet since it’s new, but I wish I lived alone a long time ago! One thing I wish I experienced in my 20’s is living on my own. I never did. I moved right in with my boyfriend (now husband for almost 24 years!) I can tell you that after that long so far i truly cherish when I have the house to myself which is rare. Enjoy your separate living now! ❤

The Chelsea would serve your needs and the you seem to love the kitchen and two bathrooms. The apartment with the kool kitchen where the tenant was still living in the apartment but the bathroom wasn’t girly enough and the last apartment was surrounded by another apartment building with no view. Final choice, the Chelsea.
