I am not a stylist. I found your videos due to the KZbin algorithm recommending something to watch. I am actually an accountant. Also, your rent is a write off different things like that. Great tips and yes, definitely won account very crucial.

Love your videos! I’m 24, went to college, got a degree, got a job and have been miserable in it. I just put in my two weeks at my job to go to cosmetology school, but now that I am actually doing it I feel like I’m doubting myself. I feel like I’m too old and will be behind everyone else in the industry obviously since I know nothing yet.. how did you know this was something you wanted to do? Is 24 too old? I want this so badly and am ready to work hard but facing lots of self doubts now that I am actually doing it.. any advice or tips help :)
@DanielleRounds Жыл бұрын
You are NEVER too old! 24 is still so young. Self doubt is a real and grueling thing but if this is something you 100% want for yourself you just have to put your mind to it and do the work! I always knew this was what I wanted to do but self doubt took over and I went to college for a year and a half and I was the most miserable I’ve ever been. So I took it upon myself to do what was going to make ME happy and went to cosmetology school. It’s all about what makes you happy!

I graduated from cosmetology school just about 6 months! I was 26 when i started, I’ll be 28 in September, I felt i was too old but realized i don’t care how old i am if it’s something i truly love, it was the best decision i ever made! Genuinely so happy i made this step in my life. You will not regret it!

i’m a sophomore in high school and i’m trying to decide if i should go to a career center next year for cosmetology. your videos are super helpful for learning about the career, so thank you so much!!! ❤️❤️ i have to ask though, what is the difference between a commissioner and a renter? is renting owning your own salon?
@nautica00 Жыл бұрын
Booth renting is where you pay to work at that little work station in that building. It’s a monthly fee that could be like $500 or so. But do it, it’s thousands of dollars if you decide you want to do hair later on in life, when you have less free time and more bills like rent. I got my license while I was in high school through the career center program. You will not regret the time spent.. even if you decide to use it later in life.
@emma-vb8ys Жыл бұрын
@@nautica00thank you so much! I started the program last week and really like it so far, but sadly I recently learned that booth rental is illegal in my state. I don’t know if there is a way around this but I will probably have to move away when I’m older. I’m pretty disappointed in my state but I hope one day I can have my own chair

Please help me suggest universities for the same and share your experience. It will help me a lot. Hoping for your earliest response. Have a great day ahead!
