I don't know if you are looking to hire a second, but I've analysed this game very carefully, and identified some weaknesses in your play. I think we can beat this Charlie guy if we can just figure out how he's up so much material so early in the game. It's probably some obscure trap he saw in an Eric Rosen video

@@sweetannoying3889 one thing that helps me is puzzles, I’d also suggest taking breaks every once in awhile, let your brain refresh. Openings aren’t everything, find one you’re good at, and practice with that opening until your comfortable to explore more

And also, very much agree with the puzzles suggestion, you can do some for free on chess.com, and also you can do as many as you want for free on lichess

My guess is that it doesn't do too much since even if you capture the horse, they could just take the bishop with the pawn, but it's not terrible since it doesn't put you at a big disadvantage. However, at the same time, it's kind of pointless. That's my take on it.
