The fact that Danya can see moves like Rf6 and calculate all the way out including multiple sacrifices including c4, all in a few seconds, is absolutely incredible. High level GMs can just process information at such lightning speed.

Perfect way to illustrate the superGM and decent (yes, 1700s blitz is > 95percentile) chess players discrepancy. Smooth opening with black. Each of the opponent’s move has to be engine top 5 to even keep up. “Punishing” a 3am-speedrunning-Danya is finding a pawn-protected pawn capture or a disgusting Queen move back to first rank for no apparent reason. Then it’s all mental willpower drainage until a blunder where, if weren’t made, was about to be responded with a two-brilliant-moves sequence. Disgusting.

Qd1 makes no sense and I don't think anyone would find it but the discovery on the knight is a pretty basic tactic that most 1700s would see,he just didn't think for too long

I agree with all you said, but Danya isn't a super GM.. He's a strong Gm, but super GMs are usually over 2700 fide, Danya is sitting on 2616 rn, peaking at 2650.. I don't mean to be corrective just for the sake of it here but I think that's an important distinction✌️

@Mr. Mr. I mean I do agree that online blitz Danya is "super Gm" level but he's not playing blitz in this vid and bringing online ratings into it is always sketch with its premoves etc, Andrew tang is super super gm in hyperbullet and bullet but that doesn't make him a Super Gm, you have to use that term lightly is all I'm saying.

Some really cool ideas in this game. The rook sac to make way for the other rook. The "potential energy" of the dark square bishop coming alive at the very end after a pawn sac. The difference between Nd5 and Nxe4 because of the removal of the pawn anchor. This was an educational game
