I think in malaysia and Thailand we use the same tràck gauge 1,000mm or 3ft 3in I also don't like rawang for it's cruved platfrom cus it makes the gap bloody huge

I had to go to Batu Caves yesterday. On my way back, I went to try my luck at the Batu Caves Station to see if I could do some spotting. I was very lucky. Managed to spot some trains. Can view in my Facebook under the KZbin link which I have posted. The co incident is I spotted this two locomotives. Tg.Dumpil and Tg.Tualang.

sekadar pendapat... kalau satu line komuter tu dari batu cave boleh sampai ke senawang so kenapa yang ini diorang tak nak sambung terus sampai ke ipoh ye..? kalau straight dari klang ke tanjung malim takpe lah atas faktor jarak tapi kalau setakat dari sungai buluh je rasa macam boleh je kan sambung dari tanjung malim ke ipoh... atleast ada lah pilihan orang dari area lembah klang nak ke ipoh sama ada pilih komuter atau guna ets...

Sbb Komuter dari Sungai Buloh ni hanya sementara sahaja. Apabila projek rehab KVDT dah siap, dia akan sambung balik ke Pelabuhan Klang. Lagi satu, bila ditambah jarak perjalanan, set Komuter yg diperlukan utk mengekalkan kekerapan perkhidmatan bertambah jugak. Sekarang Komuter Utara pun perlukan 3-4 set. KTM dan kerajaan tak menambah set Komuter. Kelas 83 ni sepatutnya dah dilucut perkhidmatan bila Kelas 92 masuk perkhidmatan. Tapi sbb tak cukup set, Kelas 83 dikekalkan, asalnya untuk Komuter Utara. Tapi sbb permintaan yg banyak, Kelas 92 dikerahkan ke Utara....

Pasir Gudang aktif lagi. Cuma ada sebahagian yg dah dibongkar sbb dah tak diperlukan lagi.

Hi there, looking forward to visit this train spotting station. Does the authority allow you to stay at the station for this long period? Or should we apply for any photography permit from KTM?

It's better to apply a permit. I was there as a paying passenger.

Since the Klang Valley Double Track Rehabilitation Project started, in order to accommodate rehabilitation works, it's necessary to reduce frequency of trains at certain stretches. The Tanjung Malim - Port Klang sector is broken into two sections, from Tanjung Malim to Sungai Buloh, and from KL Sentral to Port Klang. There are not enough Class 92 sets to be used for the two sections, so Tanjung Malim - Sungai Buloh have to use the "old" Class 83 sets, while KL Sentral - Port Klang still uses the Class 92 sets
