He is refreshing - speaks with natural candour and seems to enjoy talking with the reporters at the conference. He is quite a character and enjoyable to watch. I think he is one tennis player that has really a high tennis IQ. He figures things out on court quickly but today was just not his day.

What a wonderful player is Daniil. He deserved this more than anyone especially being 2 sets up and 2 points away at one point. It was so cruel how fate turned his cards... But as he said courtside after the match - better to be in the final than not at all... Hes got a wonderful and resolute mentality, astounding personality and such a rare disposition, especially in how he is able to build positives even in defeat - also love how he's so calm in the heat of battle - thats not easy to be. Add that reinvigorating warmth with the media and you really want it to happen for him a 2nd and 3rd time one day, such a cool customer. He defo deserved it as much as Jannik did. Credit to both gentlemen for bringing us such a nailbiting final. It was worth every dime!

Daniel is a true champion in any sense of the word, regardless of runner-up in another great match.

Well done Daniil. Thank you for gr8 entertainment. I thought Sinner would win because of his gr8 serving & strong allround game, but the way u started stunned him & everyone else. I hope you win a slam in the future.

Medvedev had an unlucky day and ran out of steam. Will win many more major titles for sure.

Could see Medvedev tiring out as the match progress. It wasnt a wrong strategy to close out Sinner fast. But Sinner just had it in him to push back. A great five setter either ways, good luck guys

Sporting Games are designed so that one player comes first while another comes in second or in other positions. That is just the design for somewhat temporary rankings. What is greatest and lasting though, is our coming together and our playing together as often as we can, such are lasting wins and victories for everyone each time. Ranks are temporary, the coming together in goodness and friendship is the greatest and lasting value we win forever, always and everytime. Hats off and congratulations to all the Great Sports and people who always come together. AO24 and more, together we have won and will continue to win, the great, greater and the greatest.🎉🎉🎉 😂🤓
