@48:41, I really believe Medvedev deliberately double-faulted in order to give the point to Dimitrov because Dimitrov should have won the previous point but didn't because ran out of challenge
@Hamzzy4 жыл бұрын
Yes you are right, it its clear his intention, he serve without taking time between serves. Even the Dimitrov staff/friends clap.
@wahn104 жыл бұрын
I think you're right. And it's exactly the kind of thing Meddy would do.

Es una delicia, poder ver partidos completos de gram slams!, muy especialmente en estos tiempos de confinamiento. Muuchas veces el trabajo no nos permite ver todos los partidos que quisieramos. Gracias US Open Tennis Championships por subirlos completos. Los partidos clasificatorios tienen mucho que ensenarnos, no solo a jugar o ver detalles, sino a disfrutar los diferentes estilos. Im deligthed to watch gram Slam Full games!, in Special in this quarentine times. Many times is difficult to whatch'em because of our jobs. THANKS Us Open Tennis Championships for upload the full matches. we learn a lot in the clasificatory games, not just to improve a litte bit, but to enjoy the different tennis player styles!!!

I personally think Dimitrov has underachieved, he has made many semifinals in slams and masters, but never really has broken through apart from Cincinnati and Nitto ATP Finals in 2017… He’s such a nice player to watch when in full flow, and has been as high as world number 3 I believe. So, it’s sad how he hasn’t gotten a slam to his name.

Medvedev's style is similar to that of Djokovic - a style that began with Lendl. But Medvedev is less aggressive than those guys, and less developed. In this match, that is. He's made great progress since then.
@sj46323 жыл бұрын
Really? He got destroyed in AO Open 2021. What has he "progressed" on actually? Seems like he's regressed. From 2 years ago.
