I got this deck just in time to use it for my year ahead readings and it is PHENOMENAL. I think US Games did a great job with the production, and the beauty of the art is just sublime. There is so much clever symbolism here to inspire powerful intuitive hits! I absolutely love that all the cards often associated with power, and thus bearing masculine imagery, are offered in their feminine counterparts. It helps de-gender and re-evaluate the concept of power in one's personal work with the deck. This was an excellent choice. The deck is a fantastic reader and it's already in my top 5 decks of all time!

My deck just arrived 2 days ago. Immediately fell in love with the artwork. I was kind of surprised by the two kings. I may actually pull out each pair of kings and journal about them, then decide whether to keep all of them in.

Every time I say I'm done buying decks for a while another BEAUTIFUL deck pops up...aaaarrrrghhh! LOL I cannot even with this one...blown away! Also, I would totally keep both kings in the deck because each are unique enough to stand alone. It would be interesting to see how one vs the other might change the tone of a reading. Besides, I couldn't bear to leave any of these beautiful cards out! it's sold out on US Games but I found it in stock on Etsy (so, hurry).

Yes! I was the same way, but I had this one pre-ordered for a while, so I forgave myself LOL I also heard that there are a few shops have them in stock right now as well! So maybe checking locally or searching online may find some in stock!

I love this deck, my favourite. The artwork is beautiful. Have done many great readings with it. The gloss doesn’t bother me at all. I find I get lost in the pictures and find many meanings

I got my tarot deck last week NY Eve and haven't put it down. I love this deck so much already and just want to stare at it! Great walk through, really like all the cards in this deck, yup will be purchasing later this year for this deck. Loving your enthusiasm, so very happy for you. I think they should have not done the gilding in this deck. Am really liking the male/female Kings, but I have to get the deck to feel the deck to see if I either keep it in the deck or take it out or rotate them. Gonna have to wait and see.

I had the same problem with Amazon and ordered from US Games last week, should be here tomorrow. This is EXACTLY my kind of art, though I agree about the shiny stock and gilding--I could do without them. But I suspect this will become one of my favorite decks--like Dreamkeeper but with much more vibrant colors. I might keep the kings/emperors in as well, we'll see. Thanks, Dani!

I bought this deck about three years ago. I just came across this video. My deck has been in purgatory. I brought it out to do the walk through with you, since it was back in order. I didn't have an issue with the guilding, since I'm primarily a hand over hand shuffler, (I ask my decks which they prefer). I love the slip and card card stock. When I first bought this deck, I was less familiar with Tarot and felt a disconnect. I'm going to give it another try. 😌 Is this deck still in rotation for you?

I just bought this deck on my bday last week. The artwork is stunning and this is an insightful deck. This is the first deck that I journal about. Some people complained about the glossiness but for me it is just fine. The four female kings are amazing and somehow I feel them overpower the male kings and queens... I have not decided to include female kings or not, but the Female Emperor is a nah for me lol

Why are there King women but no Queen men?

The artists explained that she created this tarot deck with her own personal stories in mind, which came from a feminine point of view. She said she created it with mostly female archetypes, but then decided later to add back the male versions of those cards so the reader could decide which ones they wanted to use. It is explained in the title card of the deck. As far as why she didn’t create males for the queens, I’m not sure. That would be a great question to ask the creator!

I ordered this after seeing it on Instagram. Personally, I just really prefer women in my decks and I find that women can (for me) be more masculine than the men sometimes. I’m not sure what it is but I find that a lot of the times, men in decks are just so...boring and static while women seem to literally pop off the card.
