Thank you for reacting to that song(s). You hit the nail on the head. They do about 11 songs on this concert, and they are all good. I highly recommend them. We usually smile through them as well. Others that you might enjoy on the concert are, Pa en gron bakketop, en pige gik i enge, jeg har fanget mig en myg, and roselil og hendes moder. The next Christmas concert they did another enjoyable one "Decembersang/Nissehopsa." I am thankful that you gave them a go and were not scared off by the foreign language. Though my family has some Danish blood on my late dads side, we know none of the language, but he enjoyed watching and listening to them until he passed away in late February. Thanks again for reacting, and being respectful of the artists throughout.

Thank you. Swedish and Norwegian are quite similar, and we have a that expression in Swedish as well (Ride Ranke. In Swedish, Rida Ranka) to ride on a rocking horse or to ride on someone's knees. You know like how you do with your kids, while bouncing them on your knee, sometimes make them feel that you might fall down?

I remember my Swedish grandfather bouncing me on his knee and saying that. Somehow, I didn't connect it when reacting to the song. Silly me.

Hahaha, yes, that’s the one. In Swedish, I believe the whole saying goes like: Rida Rida Ranka och hästen heter Blanka. Riding and bouncing, and the name of the horse is Blanka.
