As a Namibian, black African woman married to a strict, tolerant Danish man, I can assure you that the Danes are proud of their Danish culture. Probably the most proudest and most honest European nation, or even THE proudest nation, to date. Danish people are not entirely tolerant of anything that will disturb their freedom and peace. It has taken them many wars to get where they are. The Danes are frank, in-your-face type of people. Danes don't care for reputation. Danes are engineered to protect their heritage at all costs. Pork is the main export of Denmark. It has been so, and will be so for long to come, Islam or not. Freedom of speech is also something the Danes will always protect. There is no political correctness or one being better that others. The Danes have learned how to take life seriously but don't take themselves seriously. In Denmark, you do your work, be honest and be kind to me, respect my space, let's solve problems together, but live your life as you should and let me live mine. As an African, one is much more accepted when living Danish in Danish culture as opposed to not. Islam will never work in a system like Denmark. Rightly so. If one doesn't like it, then one can go elsewhere. Nobody is perfect, but I feel most safest in Denmark than anywhere else in the world, when it comes to terrorism. I have embraced the Danish culture, and that it the way it has been and will be. I'm not Islamophobic but you can't just come into someone else's home and start to force them to accept your way of life if it affects them. The Danes have earned this tradition. The whole country moves together as one. Islam will never work in Denmark. Most of these refugees have found a loophole in the system where they can just have many children and be paid via social welfare from Danish taxpayer's expense. This too has changed now. Government only pay for maximum 3 children under 18 years of age. Thanks to these immigrants, the Danish state has now stopped funding foreigners wanting to learn Danish without relevant documents. Slowly these radicalised religious extremist eventually leave Denmark because the common Dane knows that it's just all fairytales and rainbows. The Danes created a system that works for them, and them only. Which is something everyone should be proud of. Danish people are more caring, accomodating and accepting than I have experienced, but they are also the most hostile, brutally honest and frank people, and have the most hostile immigration rules in the world. Theirs is the future we aim for.

This reminded me of an incident at my daughter's last year in kindergarten in Germany: The kindergarten and all the parents arranged a play day for the kids in the park and the adults would bring stuff for a small buffet. While discussing that, the father of a Turkish girl responded in the chat in an almost aggressive manner about how us even thinking of bringing sausages and beer for us adults to the event is disrespectful, about how offensive our lifestyle is to his religion and that they'd not just refuse to show up to the play day, but even go so far as to take their daughter out of kindergarten permanently if we followed through with our plans. When I read that, I was stunned. While not the greatest beer or sausage fan either, it was troubling to see someone essentially dictating the menu for everyone else without any opposition by the other parents. My girlfriend and I responded in a polite but firm manner and the essence of our response was clear: If you don't like it, simply don't consume it. That is your right and we'll respect that. But telling other parents what they ought to consume in their presence or not is not something that any adult should take seriously. Needless to say, they didn't come to the play day. However, all other parents at the event somehow seemed to think that our response went too far and that we shouldn't offend anybody, because it is their culture and that not consuming pork or alcohol for one afternoon won't do us any harm (which misses the point entirely, but oh well...) Two days after that, we got a phone call from the kindergarten management, informing us that the Turkish dad filed a complaint against us as parents and accused us of racism. Apart from being utterly bewildered and in disbelief that the management was even considering this, it seemed like all they wanted to do is just virtue-signalling and occupying the moral high ground for something that they weren't even involved in. There were no consequences for our daughter or us in the end, because the staff and management had to concede that there was nothing insulting or outrageous in our response. Long story short: It is almost puzzling as to why progressive, liberal-minded people in a social democracy mindlessly insist on defending and tolerating ideas that aim at cancelling out precisely these progressive and democratic principles when the conditions allow it.

We have many immigrants from different cultures, but Muslims are the most troublesome. Clan crime, rejection of liberal democracy, rejection of a free society, living in a parallel society, strong emphasis on religion, extreme macho behaviour in men, high propensity to violence and so on. Of course, not everyone is like this, but there are still so many that it is noticeable. In Berlin, the Ruhr area and Hamburg, there are streets where the police only dare to enter with reinforcements. We see street fights between hostile families. Many countries still do not allow them to work EVEN if they have valuable skills like being a doctor/nurse/scientist. In England, in our local area we had an influx of people from Eastern Europe. There was a huge amount of bias, prejudice and racism towards them at first. They are now happily integrated into local life. The children all play together with local children. Integration takes time, but it is not impossible...

I lived for many years in Flensburg, right on the Danish border. I have been many times in Denmark and found that the Danish are probably the nicest, most generous and happy people on the globe. Eh ... I'm Southeast Asian (read: not Chinese) and went to Denmark in 2016 for a 6-month project for one of our affiliate companies. On my first night, I already experienced anti-Asian behavior when the grocery store owner told me "we don't serve Asians here." I just held on to what my Danish colleagues told me that "If we (Danes) are rude to you, it means we like you" and just went on doing my grocery as if I did not hear it. But dang, it was a long lonely 6 months in that country. Truly, the climate is not the only thing that's cold in Denmark. Regardless, I fully support Denmark's hard stance against Muslims. I recall reading in the news one day that a gay man was raped by a gang of Muslims in that in(?)famous Copenhagen park (Danes will know which one I'm referring to) and I heard one Danish comment saying, " what is wrong with those people"? Denmark has already sacrificed so much just to help them (even offering them money to let them go back to their country or to support them) and now that they (the refugees) got the taste of living in Denmark (even planning to get all their families through), they want more. Even migrating to Denmark legally with all your papers present is very dificult because they have to truly factor you in (I know, I checked). Just continuously taking in migrants/immigrants is irresposible and not very fair for the citizens too (i.e., current US situation). It's not about racism because if that was the case, Denmark wouldn't have helped at all, wouldn't have given THEIR money to support Syrian refugees. In this case, maybe Syrians could migrate to another country which has easier laws about migration. Maybe US could do it since they're apparently empathetic enough.

Since I lived there 10 years ago, it was the most beautiful peaceful place on earth, along with the Danes who were super tolerant, kind and fair. They had signs such as, "Speak to us, learn about Islam, we are not Terrorists"... Wait what? No one ever accused you of being terrorist in Denmark so far... Next came the street protests when there were enough Islamic migrants. They cried out for bacon to stop being sold in stores near the now "Muslim Ghetto area's". With this ridiculous fascist request, the Danish government were not amused, and made sure Danish Stores still continued selling Danish bacon. After this, there were protests from muslims to BAN alcohol... Excuse me? The Danes love a peaceful harmless beer in the sun !!! What the hell is going on I used to think all those years ago. Why are they treating Denmark with so much disrespect, when the Danes welcomed them in as new migrants to their country. Following this came all sorts of Islamic demands, against the peaceful life Danes have always had. Against what they deemed as normal. Eventually around the corner from where I lived, which was once a peaceful area, became a rubbish dumping zone. Trash everywhere, used food packets, human waste on the pavements. More mosques started being erected, and men and women muslim lived publicly very separate lives. I'm not attacking anyone with this post, just saying what happened during my stay there. It was really sad to see, especially to such a wonderful country. The last time I checked... yes the Muslims there were in the square, again screaming aggressively, making new demands, and complaining that Denmark does not meet their way of life... Such sadness.

@@Gemarica People're talking about how incompetent and violent American policemen are in handling certain cases, well at least in the US the police department genuinely cares about those shit happening on the streets and is taking measurements to fight those who bring problems. And yeah, people are also talking about how "democratic" policemen are in Europe, but those lenient policemen there are never effective when things have really gotten worse. In Sweden there're numerous cases where immigrant gangs burnt down the police cars and the media doesn't even have the balls to announce the ethnic background of those criminals. The US has problems but at least it's trying to solve them, while in Europe they just play the "anti-racism, equality" card and pretend that those problems never exist.

Always remember this pattern, 1) Conflict is always between islam vs other religions 2) Other islamic countries will not accept those affected muslims as their refugees, but they somehow sneak into non-islamic countries.
