Dawn who in my opinion was the strongest straight forward vocalist in the group was also in Diddy’s Dirty Money and has a pretty successful indie music career. They all had vocals and had to be able to keep up dancing, they were put together on a season of Making the Band back then my mother worked for Diddy too as a stylist for his groups. Ride for You and Showstopper are their instant hit classics but their Welcome to their Dollhouse album had plenty of good songs, they just were broken up right as it released. Occasionally a handful of them in rotation get together and release something.

This is without a doubt my favorite group of all time!!!! I'm still in ahh, after seeing them in concert for their reunion tour last year. If you are looking for a more RnB sound to their music, I recommend checking out Ohh Ahh from the first album, Tell Me and Lemonade from their third album. The talent of this group is phenomenal, and they will always hold a very special place in my heart!!

The concept of Danity Kane was to have 5 solo artist be in one group. So there is no lead because they are all lead. The girls would do their own background vocals for their own solo parts. Then they would sing the chorus together with the 2 strongest vocals singing the main melodic line and the others adding the harmonies. This group was formed by Diddy on making the band. That’s why he was in the track.

Lemonade is their best recent song... Check that out for an updated vibe. But Showstopper is their biggest single (and it's dope), sleep on it (super vibey and dope af too), bad girl ft Missy Elliot (I mean Missy, come on), ride for you, poetry was pretty big. Danity Kane is a rare group that can actually all sing very well, and sound even better live a lot of times and they all can dance they ass off! I got mad respect for them. If you don't know anything about this group, they were formed through the MTV reality show "Making the Band" where aspiring artists auditioned to be on the show where Diddy would pick up to 5 members to be in a group. They only made 2 albums I believe, but the group broke up because of inside drama and conflict with how Diddy handled business..
