Dani: I inadvertently discovered your great talent by watching and subscribing to the videos of Will Wilde. I just started learning how to play the harmonica, subscribed to his channel and then discovered what an incredible talent you are! I am fans of you both! Such talent! I look forward to seeing more of your videos! Cheers.

I'd never heard of her but got a CD of her music from Japan. Her singing is positively gorgeous and the production on the CD is as good as I've heard. I'd assumed that she had a gunslinger studio guitarist playing solos. Nope! It's all her. She's so talented and has so much soul! Why does the tiny UK produce so many world class musicians? Whatever the reason, thank you and please keep making them! Dani, you are a certified baddass. Thanks.

No complaints about the content, its just she and the band have not yet experienced real pain in her life and it shows in the end product. You CANNOT have fun if you want to play the blues properly.
@willharmonicawilde4 жыл бұрын
What a ridiculous comment. How would you know what any of us have experienced in our lives?
@johnfoster32864 жыл бұрын
@@willharmonicawilde You can tell from the quality of the (LACK OF) pain. The blues is NOT having fun, its an expression of pain, grief, hurt, rejection, depression, maybe even part insecurity, but NOT fun.
@willharmonicawilde4 жыл бұрын
@@johnfoster3286 Before you appoint yourself as some sort of authority on the Blues genre, perhaps you should do some research on the subject. There are literally thousands of uplifting blues songs; Got my Mojo Working, My Babe, Everything's Gonna Be Alright, are just a few well known ones that come to mind. Early blues was often comical or raunchy. Do you honestly think someone like BB King, Muddy Waters or John Lee Hooker and their band members never had any fun while playing their music?! Often it is about escaping from the hard times, it doesn't all have to be about dwelling on them.
@johnfoster32864 жыл бұрын
@@willharmonicawilde In my book some of those you mentioned Mojo working, my babe are not true blues...... but hell what do I know, Ive only been listening for 64 ish years (im 74 next month.)
@johnfoster32864 жыл бұрын
@@willharmonicawilde Firstly I did not appoint myself as an authority that is your conculusion. The whole point is that Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, BB king have got there because of the quality of performance this lacks the end product. And yes this was posted 10 months ago after the love of my life departed this world and it should have been posted as a reply to the post below by Brian G
