what a beautiful sentiment, but life is just not that black-and-white. I’m a boring dude that makes music. The only value I have is making music. so I want to agree, but at the same time from someone, that’s been being themselves for 15 years on social media being yourself or genuine, doesn’t automatically make things work. I’m also willing to assume that over 90% of the people you think are being genuine aren’t

WoW Dan - this is exactly what I've been searching for and didn't even know it. 6 years ago I had to leave my dream life in CA - which I was documenting and creating a fun, healthy and fashionable lifestyle brand around. I even achieved bucket list goals like being on the Today Show. But When I left CA, my life went down a rabbit hole with several traumatic things happening all at once, losing my momentum, my parents, my partner and ultimately becoming homeless and living in hotels during Covid. And becoming so depressed that I couldn't even produce my podcast. I videoed it all as I tried to cope - and thought about writing a book about it. However, I never broadcast the videos and my book outlines are still in progress - per my being conflicted about what story should I be telling as it all seemed so segmented. I hired a friend a year and a half ago, who is a brand consultant who instructed me to pivot into a vintage fashion niche. BUT your video IS spot ON how I can put this all together and marry the past work with my present goals and hopes and dreams. Thank you thank you thank you, I will be following this series and am already working the outline you propose here. Sincerely yours, Candy

I'm in the process of doing this at the moment. I realized last year that I actually have four interests - so I've created an umbrella 'brand' - where not only will I talk about my four interests, but I'll also talk about anything else that catches my interest. Under this umbrella 'brand', I give myself permission to talk about anything and everything. I'm supporting this side hustle with a part time day job, and have recently (read: past month or so) dug out a small space for myself to start creating online content, and with this, attempting to get some exposure. None of this is going to happen overnight - creating an online brand takes time, and not only one way of doing things is going to work - thanks for this video. 🙏

Your content is extremly relatable, 3 years ago i paid to learn how to run an ads agency, learned to build a website and that. It never kicked off but i continued to study and learn design, copyrighting and many more, then started creating tiktoks about marketing with flow, offering consulting work and now I'm at a point of wanting to do more with my life. much like treating it as a philosophy, still have lots to understand what i am trying to do and the ultimate vision for the business life. I already know that just for the personal life, its being financially free and being able to live that happily ever after with my wife and child.

I FULLY understand, and wow! I already believed that it was stupid to believe you had to focus on one niche as a creator, because we are multidimensional. Everything that comes from you makes sense together BECAUSE it comes from you. I have started implementing my thoughts as distinct brands under my personal brand as an umbrella, but this video makes me think I'm doing too much 😅. Just fully embrace myself AS the brand, and the things I want to share and promote don't need their own space. Although, I have also considered building a brand to one day sell. In that case, building a detached brand still makes sense.

I hear you. One takeaway i had from this video is, while I can talk about what is working for me and what I believe, I should hold it with a loose grip, because it’s bound to change as I evolve and gain new understandings. So, I won’t be saying “my approach is the best” but Instead “here’s what’s working now” and then I can shift over time as things inevitably change.

I can't slack off because it's not just about me and my brand; it's theirs too. That kind of pressure keeps my head in the game and focused. I've created my favourite list on Instagram and twitter and everyone else is muted for now. I've only started looking at your content recently Dan and I love your approach. So genuine and a wealth of knowledge. Your explanations of concepts are really on point also. I've just joined your online community Modern Mastery (which I think is amazing value for money), because of all this value you put out for free. Thank you.

I have so many projects going on that I need to remember who is at the head of each one. Hearing that I am the brand and don't have to put myself into a box is helpfuThe next step is to knowing where I take every small entity (and they are small) to create something worthwhile and profitatep. I need to know what to scrap and keep, which I will struggle with. Also being a Gen X makes so much difference in this online world.

Great advice. Some may call it squirrel syndrome, but I think it’s more like research. Thank you for advising us to freely embrace the myriad of information that completes the big picture in our minds. This is a much more interesting way to build a like minded community and help people to reach their goals. I’m a new subscriber.

This is sooooo good ❤I’ve been battling with creating “broad” content vs “niche” targeted content. But this makes so much sense. Thanks for your perspective. My mind is definitely in the right direction.

Thank goodness you brought this up! Truly, investing has changed my perspective on how one can succeed in life; working multiple jobs isn't the optimal way to attain financial freedom and unfortunately, we discover this later in life. Currently earn as much as 10 grand weekly and this has improved my financial life. Great piece!

Wow, congratulations on your impressive investment success! Your discipline and focus on delayed gratification is truly inspiring. I'm curious, what are some of the key factors that you consider when making investment decisions? Do you have any tips for those of us who are just starting to dip our toes into the world of investing? Thanks for sharing your story!

As a beginner I would recommend you get started with a professional broker that will guide you through the process and trade for you while you get the daily profit and rewards.

Olivia Sullivan Financials is my portfolio-coach, I found her on CNBC where she was interviewed, I looked up her name on the internet. Fortunately I came across her and reached out to her, you can verify her yourself.

I don't know how this video ended up in my recommendations, but I'm glad it did. I'm going to have to watch it a couple more times. I love that you are approaching this from an angle that doesn't force people to box themselves in. I definitely know what my ideal life looks like, and my journey to this point has been all over the place. This video is challenging me to look at how I put it all together differently.

Th anks Dan, Coaching is such a great way to compile masses of information and skills you've attained through life and helping others make a difference in their lives. For that I say a good coach is priceless!

No doubt. From everything I've experienced, it's just an incredible starting (and even ending) point. Most coaches go on to build other businesses or software, but the experience is priceless

Dan - you popped up in my algorithm one day, and your videos have been really encouraging given my anxiety around competition. I am a slow mover. I'm learning to move faster, but it's discouraging when I see that other people have implemented on an idea that I have had for years... I understand that ideas are only the beginning, but when I see that someone else has occupied that space, I ask myself "what's the point?" You remind me that I'll do it different! MY niche isnt saturated, because Im ME! A rose doesnt make a camellia any less lovely.

Thank you Dan for this excellent video and the very actionable and clear concepts. I have a unique niche but in terms of moving it forward and turning it into a business, not so much. The solopreneur sprints course sounds very much what I might need. Ty for the inspiration, much respekt

This is actually great advice, I was sort of mad at you at first for sharing these secrets, having assumed that it would create more competition. I then however realized that if each individual is their own niche, it creates space, just as fingerprints are unique to each individual.

I appreciate the fascinating information you shared. In my own journey, I am planning to merge two of my passions into a nondual exploration of the Multiverse and the concept of "Self" that transcends individual identity. I often play with the idea of the "Youniverse," which emphasizes the interconnectedness of all religions, sciences, and beyond. This exploration is guided by the lucidity of Advaita Vedanta, a Hindu philosophical tradition, and Vedic Astrology. Through this lens, I aim to reveal the paradoxical nature of astrology - on one hand, it may appear as nonsense, but on the other, it holds profound wisdom hidden within the ancient tales of the stars and their mystical nature. Interestingly, similar patterns and wisdom can be found in the occult studies of different cultures around the world. As part of my plan to start a KZbin channel dedicated to this exploration, I recently published my first book. This journey has been a tremendous learning experience, and I am gaining a deep sense of value with each new skill I acquire along the way.

I've watched countless videos on this topic, but nothing comes close to the brilliance of this one. It's not just good; it's a game-changer. The creativity, depth, and insight offered here set a new benchmark. Truly, this is the best video I've ever come across. Had I encountered this video a few years back, it would have fundamentally transformed my approach to discovering my niche and crafting my brand. Understanding its concepts would have empowered me to implement these strategies right from the outset of my journey in the dynamic realm of personal branding and digital content creation. This video is not just informative; it's a roadmap for anyone venturing into the world of one-person businesses. A must-watch for anyone seeking exceptional content! Thank you❤❤🙌🙌💥

Great video as so often, so interesting to recognize oneself opening up to new perspectives and views and at the same time having that „hell yeah I know exactly what he says from the own experience and perspective“ experience when watching your content (koe letter as well!) thanks for your great inspiring work, gonna watch all the stuff twice for sure, high quality stuff every time the dots connect more and more, great to implement It’s also kinda refreshing that you’re not talking in some standard phrases, very authentic and individual Chapter „When in doubt, zoom out“, is very accurate for me right now, well said there as well
