@lc92452 жыл бұрын
Yep, it’s unfortunate but the only option for what Raycon advertise “cheaper with same features as premium brands”, there’s only Chinese brands. They are selling on Amazon for much more than what they sell for locally as well, but still a lot cheaper than anything with the same feature list, albeit at worse sound. Raycon is not even close to what those offer.
@lc92452 жыл бұрын
@@archkull Made in China and Chinese brands are not the same. Airpods are also made in China. I know Raycon probably just visit Chinese manufacturer, choose a model then rebrand it as their own, yet the Chinese brands still offer superior products to Raycon at lower price. It suggests that Raycon went to China and still choose an inferior product to rebrand.
@archkull2 жыл бұрын
@@lc9245 I dont think I made my point correctly, The reason Raycon went to China was to get the cheapest generic thing to rebrand. Any time a company you've never once heard of, or saw any of their products on shelves before just pops up with a seemingly never ending budget for advertisements telling you how they are very good quality for great prices, you have to wonder where they are cutting corners to be able to spend so much on advertising. They choose inferior on purpose, because they only want cheap to make the most profit from the people they trick through their ad campaigns. And maybe this is just my personal opinion, but a company that buys the mass produced product of a factory, where any other company can also buy directly from and do the same things, go and put their shitty logo on it, and then sell it to consumers as if they're doing anything involving effort, isnt a real business. Its a scam at worst and a stupid importer at best. If I'm buying chinese products no matter what I do, I'd rather actually buy it directly from the chinese manufacturers or companies directly, saves me money.

@mjc09613 жыл бұрын
Wireless charging in general sucks. It's less efficient, you lose some of your charging as heat, which means it takes longer to charge and it heats the battery up more, which reduces long term battery life. Just the way the manufacturers want it, so your battery dies sooner and you buy a new phone sooner. All that, and it's not even wireless. There's a wire going from a power supply to the wireless charging base. I can bypass all the disadvantages of this technology by just taking that wire and plugging it into my phone instead of the charging base. And then when I'm done charging, a wire is easier to tuck away and recover the desk space than a charging base is.
@danielm.5953 жыл бұрын
@Harrison Gist wireless charging works by electro magnetism, which induces the charge from the charger into the coils of the phone. This, however, as said by mjc0961, is incredibly less effective than normal charging because, unlike cabled charging, it does not connect directly into the circuits, letting a huge amount of energy escape ( whose a part becomes heat )as it tries to penetrate through glass (which also creates heat), and, as you know, heat, specially in small, fragile parts, is not a good thing. Ps: I'm not an expert in this area, but based on my knowledge from school and college, I think that's how it works.

Honestly 100% I respect RayCon for reaching out and just asking for an honest review. That’s shows 1. Confidence in their product (even if it’s unfounded at points, it shows that they want their product to be publicly either praised or criticized, leaving room for improvement) and 2. Willingness to improve This actually shows the difference to me between something like RAID: Shadow Legends. RayCon is showing they want to improve and make good on their promise of good sound for great value. Idk I just don’t see RAID running around telling game reviewers to please review their game, not expecting anything.

I think reaching out was if anything a tactic to reduce the blow, his original video got millions of views, and although it wasn’t the first critical video it was definitely more straight forward than others, some reviewers essentially sugarcoated their criticism while this guy deservedly trashed their product. As for the improvement part, i think they’ll improve as much as the industry lets them, as far as I’m concerned, they’re a private labeling company, which means they don’t actually make the product and instead only slap a logo on them.

Dude, you have no idea how much I want a series where someone honestly reviews sponsorship products. You got the Raycons, but I'd love to see someone do stuff like Skillshare, maybe Hello Fresh, etc.
@baronvonlimbourgh1716 Жыл бұрын
Skillshare is just payed youtube. Better organised and you don't have to wade trough loads of old vids, and vids with production values so low that it is hard to follow. You can find all that suff on youtube already but skillshare makes kt very easy and you know the vids come from actual profesionals and production values are pretty decent at the least. And if you are learning something new like editing or something it is certainly worth the couple of bucks to have all the stuff easilly available. Hello fresh is also actually pretty good for what it is. It just is expensive but everything that is delivery of convenience always is. I found it a good way to get into cooking that goes beyond heating up some stuff from a can, cooking some pasta and throwing it all together lol. It's all easy to make for novices, everything you need is in the box and it actually is pretty tasty. But it is made to fit a certain people with a certain lifestyle, and i'm sure it's the best thing ever for them. For me after a couple of months i just went to the store myself to get what i needed, and still do today. But like i said, it did made me confident enough in my cooking skills to start trying stuff on my own.

More like a promotion. A viewer of this video might tell their friends "Raycons fucking suck!", and their friend tells to another "Raycons suck!", and then that person tells their friend "Raycons suck", and then "Raycons suck?", into "Raycons? Idk much", and eventually it mutated into "Raycons are alright". This multiplies exponentially and results in Raycons developing another one for DP to review and the cycle continues. Also, on an unrelated note. Raycons are targeted at the general populace. To the layman, they might think it's good, 'it's pricey so it must be good'. For every audiophile like DankPods, there's about 100 layman saying "this video is sponsored by Raycons"

Raycon are relying on the placebo effect for their sound quality, they say it's "better" so everyone perceives it as better, it might actually be better but not by as much as they claim. They say "premium sound" thus everyone hears premium sound. It's actually some really clever psychological manipulation
@Squeaktoymk22 жыл бұрын
The average consumer has the audio palette of a crow and gets their neurons activated shiny and sparkly things. If has allot of bass and sparkly treble it must be good. A good chunk of today's music is geared towards that anyway, so they stay in the dark about what is supposed to sound even halfway decent. That's why quite a few people will say "these Raycon E25's sound great!", not knowing that mids even exist. Even 12 dollar Moondrop Quarks completely destroy these things, never mind things like the Blon BL03, Tin T2 or Moondrop Crescent. Buddy of mine wanted to buy a pair of E25's, but got his payment got rejected so he never received them. So me and a few friends pooled some money and are giving him a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds 2's for his birthday instead. He'll thank us later when I send him Dankpod's reviews on these KZbin sponsorship abominations and hand him a pair of buds that don't suck.

@Stephen my new ones don’t seem to be too bad but mine are completely in ear unlike some I’ve seen.... I’ll have to max them out and ask someone if they can hear it

@@wessmith1039 do you get listening fatigue through your hearing aids?
@wessmith10393 жыл бұрын
@@user-tn3qb9rs7g I guess you could say I do but I’ve had hearing aids since I was 4.... I feel my fatigue comes from them being a harder shell in my ear all day. I always had soft tips out of the ear hearing aids before these. But Other than that I absolutely love these new ones

Now, all I can hear is bongo man. He's waaaaay off in the corner, not even in the recording room. Sort of in the doorway, digging the beat that Earth, Wind and Fire were laying down. Nobody asked him to be there. He was just kind of a wanderer, the vagabond of the studio, but when he heard those phat beats he reeled himself right in. Earth, Wind and Fire were so cool with his stoned out demeanor that they didn't even care he was hanging out there in the doorway, tapping out his beats. He was bongo man, existing in the moment and melding with the music. The band heard it on the final cut, said "perfect" and left it in to forever remember their time with bongo man. Bongo man went on to lead a charmed life, not even realizing he was immortalized until some Australian dude brought it up on his grandson's computer like 45 years later. His wrinkled eyes curled into a smile realizing the happiness he brought to the world, and he pulled out his bongos to play along with September as it came on the radio. Rat-a-tat, rat-a-tat, tat. At least, that's how I imagine it going down.

In regions of Australia, "Frank smells" is just how they express gratitude to patrons and audiences. Those aussies are hell on language, but they're really upbeat about it. ♥

I've been using the Tautronics for 1.5 years since I saw these reviews. I ended up using some of my other left over bud bits from previous headphones to get a better fit, but other than that they've been great. Thanks for the recommendation.

Honestly, i think it's cool that he doesn't presume you've watched every video of him. For people that watch him for the first time, they'll have the same info as everybody else. I really like that to be honest, and I wish other youtubers would do the same!
