The USSR players were literally surrounded on all sides by enemies, the Allies were eating rocks for the latter part of the game, both the USA and the UK had capped, they had Dankus Germany against (many USSRs cap just because of this). Nevertheless, they persevered and ended up lasting until almost 1944. Everybody's praising Japan, but the Soviets also deserve some bestowing. Absolute chads.

There was a time two years ago when my axis sucked, only Hungary did anything. I lost thousands of guns carrying Italy and France was a super sweat. I couldn’t break France and I had to fucking bail out Italy every two minutes. I think the saddest part was that the game was called, but I was about to do Barbarossa. I looked at the save afterwards, the Soviets were so underprepared and had awful divisions, I could’ve carried if the host wasn’t a bitch. Also I wouldn’t have needed to carry if I wasn’t put with the dumbest Italy ever, against the sweatiest player in the server on France.
